The episode starts with Akash going to meet Pallavi, where she asks him to meet her. He gets surprised seeing the place. Pallavi arrives there. Akash has difficulty speaking with her as he is mesmerized by her beauty. Pallavi signs at him to stop speaking. She then calls Akash as a confused person. She reminisce their first moment and then says that from the day met, confusion is part of it between them. She also says to Akash how he changed her mind to get married by confusing her. Akash asks her if she is proposing him? Pallavi requests him not to interrupt her. She also says that she is nervous as she has never done this before but takes a rose in her hand and kneels in front of Akash and confesses her love for him. She also proposes to him to marry her. Akash gets happy and surprised. He also becomes speechless. Pallavi gets mad at Akash for remaining silent and demands his answer. Akash agrees to marry her, which makes Pallavi happy.
Akash takes Aparna’s name, but Pallavi tells him about Aparna meeting her in her house and apologised to her, which surprises Akash. Pallavi says that she can’t believe Akash convinced Aparna about her marriage condition that she will stay with Jaydev after they get married. She also thanks Akash for being her best friend and being there for her always. She also tells in a relationship it’s important for the couples to have a best friend bond and trust. She then says that she trusts Akash will never let her down, and she hugs him. Akash realises a huge misunderstanding that happened. He decides to inform Pallavi about the misunderstanding, but before that, Deepika and Tanvi arrive there. They both tease Akash and Pallavi. They then take Pallavi with them to get ready for the engagement. Akash gets upset, but he decides to clear the misunderstanding at any cost before it becomes more complicated.
There, Kusum gets upset with Aparna for breaking the promise she made to her while Aparna is busy with the engagement ceremony arrangements. Aparna gets sad. Suresh encourages her, saying that Kusum will eventually understand the reason behind her accepting Pallavi for Akash’s happiness. He also says that just like her and Kusum, Pallavi will also maintain the peace of their house. Aparna says she hopes the same. Akash, who arrives there, overhears their conversation. He decides to speak with Aparna about Pallavi’s marriage condition. He apologises to Aparna for his earlier behaviour towards her. Aparna tells him that she wants his happiness, nothing else. Before Akash confides with Aparna, Subash takes Akash with him inside.
Later, the Sharma’s arrives at Akash’s house. Varun makes up an excuse for being late. Aparna compliments Pallavi. She then insists Kusum perform Pallavi’s aarti. Kusum obliges. Both Jaydev and Kusum stare at each other, and they recall their challenge the other day and get uncomfortable. Meanwhile, Akash shares with Subash about the misunderstanding. Subash warns him about the consequences. Akash gets determined to confide in with Aparna about Pallavi’s marriage condition before it becomes more complicated.
