The episode starts with Pankaj asking Anjali why she is dropping Padma’s case, expressing how much her fight for justice has inspired him. Anjali clarifies that she isn’t leaving the case and asks him to wait and see what happens next. As she is about to leave, Chandraman Thakur calls and tells her that he plans to visit her house to invite her to his daughter’s engagement. Anjali rebukes him and hangs up. Pankaj asks if Chandraman had called. Anjali replies, “Yes, he wants to invite me to his daughter’s engagement at my house. Let him come, I’ll show him the moon in broad daylight.” She leaves. Pankaj reflects, thinking he knows Anjali won’t change her ways.
Meanwhile, the Rajput family discusses Aman’s engagement. Gaurav arrives at the dining table and asks about Raghav. Nivedita informs him that Raghav is unwell. Gaurav inquires about his condition, prompting Nandita to ask Gini to explain what happened. Abhay calls Gini inauspicious, but Gini defends herself. Nandita shares with the family how Anjali insulted Raghav after receiving the bribe intended for Sapna. Gaurav points out that everyone knows Yuvraj isn’t good, so why is there a need to marry their daughter to him. Abhay accuses Gini of causing more trouble by attempting to bribe Anjali’s mother. Aman, frustrated, states he is not interested in the marriage and suggests canceling it. He is about to leave the dinner table, but Nivedita stops him, warning him not to walk away in the middle of a meal. Ishani questions Gaurav on why he supports Padma, to which Gaurav responds that they should stand by their maid rather than defend the guilty. Vaibhav stands up for Yuvraj’s family, while Nandita sarcastically remarks that Gaurav is ruining their reputation.
Gini tries to diffuse the situation, asking Gaurav to drop the matter and offering to take full responsibility for resolving it. Gaurav replies that he will only support Padma and Anjali before leaving the table. Abhay questions Gini’s ability to take responsibility and what she intends to do. Gini vows to ensure Anjali doesn’t appear in court, and if she fails, she is prepared to face any punishment from the family. As she is about to leave, Kamala scolds her, asking how she could oppose another woman just to secure her position in the household. Kamala praises Anjali for standing up for Padma. Gini retorts, asking Kamala to mind her own business, making dismissive comments. Kamala demands respect, to which Gini responds by telling her to teach Abhay about respect, insisting that fighting for her rights in the house is not wrong. With confidence, she declares to Nandita that she will stop Anjali from entering the court. Gini leaves, and Abhay comments that Gini won’t accomplish anything. Nandita tells him to be quiet.
Elsewhere, Chandraman wins a chess game against Bhajan Singh. Afterward, Chandraman confides in Bhajan that he plans to kill Anjali. Bhajan advises against it, warning that it will only complicate the case, but Chandraman ignores his counsel. Bhajan asks what Chandraman intends to do, and he replies that he plans to break Anjali’s head and hand. He also mocks Anjali, speculating on the legal sections she might use against him.
Later, Chandraman’s goons corner Anjali in her neighborhood. Sensing danger, Anjali runs but soon confronts and beats up the goons. She then calls Pankaj, informing him that someone had tried to kill her, and outlines the legal sections she will use against them.
Anjali notices one of the goons’ phones ringing and answers the call. On the other end, Chandraman orders his men to break Anjali’s head and hand, ensuring she is hospitalized for at least a month. Anjali reveals to him that she has already dealt with his goons and mocks his futile attempt. She warns him that once her mother’s restrictions on her are lifted, she will teach him a lesson he won’t forget.
