The episode starts with Ved looking at Aarti he feels like Aarti has similarities like his mother. Ved says to Sonal that she likes this girl. Sonal says to Ved that Aarti is about to go there. Ved says Aarti isn’t going anywhere and says this is the first time he liked someone. Ved shows the photo of Aarti to his mother’s painting and asks his mother if she likes Aarti.
Padma says to Aarti that she can wear this Lehanga for the wedding. Aarti says she has seen better Lehanga than this. Padma asks Aarti what is the Lehanga. Aarti takes Anjali’s Lehanga from the wardrobe and says to Padma that she would like to wear this Lehanga on her wedding. Padma says to Aarti that this Lehanga belongs to Anjali and says to Aarti that she should not wear it. Aarti asks Padma why is that.
Ganesh says to Aarti that if they are telling her once she cannot wear Anjali’s Lehanga on her wedding then she should listen to them. Aarti asks Ganesh why is he behaving so rudely to her and asks Ganesh why can’t wear this Lehanga. Ganesh says to Aarti that this Lehanga has worn by her mother and her mother Anjali is now a widow. Aarti asks Ganesh so what and says Anjali got married in this Lehanga when she married her father and Anjali has a lot of memories with this Lehanga so she will also wear this wedding Lehanga on her wedding. Aarti asks Anjali if she can wear this Lehanga on her wedding dress. Aarti asks Anjali to blink her eyes to say yes. Anjali blinks her eyes. Aarti seeing it takes it as a yes.
Ved calls Aarti’s phone and Akali attends the call. Ved thinks it is Aarti who has attended the phone and says I love you to her. Ved later realises it is not Aarti and someone else. Ved lashes out at Kali for picking up Aarti’s phone. Kali gives the phone to Aarti.
Ved asks Aarti who attended her phone. Aarti says her name is Kali and she is like a sister to her and asks Ved what happened. Ved says to Aarti that he thought it was Aarti who attended the call and told I love you to Kali that was meant to Aarti. Aarti gets surprised hearing it. Ved cuts the call. Aarti celebrates with her family saying Ved said I love you to her.
Pankaj lashes out at Laal as he asked him to allow him to meet the reporter who is doing a story on the human trafficker but Laal didn’t allow him. Pankaj says to Laal that now that reporter’s life is in danger and says the trafficker’s gang are looking for her everywhere. Pankaj asks Laal to call the reporter right away. Laal calls Aarti.
Aarti attends Laal’s call. Pankaj takes the phone from Laal and says to Aarti over the phone that her life is in danger. Aarti argues with Pankaj for coming in between her and Laal. Pankaj reminds Aarti that she has recently done a story on human trafficking and says her life is in danger due to it. Aarti says she is still doing that story and says soon she will also do live streaming. Pankaj comments on Aarti and says to Aarti that she needs police protection. Aarti says she doesn’t need any police protection and comments on it.
