The episode starts with Anjali receiving a call from Abhay. Abhay begs her not to hang up. He tells Anjali that his family is forcing him to accept Gini, but he can’t, as he hates her. Abhay says that the only truth is that he loves Anjali and no one else. He insists that he recognizes her voice and no one else’s. Anjali asks Abhay, if he truly recognizes her, how can he marry Gini? Abhay responds that Gini betrayed him by tricking him into marriage. He also accuses Gini of bribing someone to win Padma’s case. Anjali retorts that Raghav hasn’t won the case yet. She then asks Abhay not to call her again and hangs up. Anjali is left crying to herself.
Gaurav congratulates Raghav on the out-of-court settlement. Raghav, confused, asks Gaurav what he means. Raghav says everything happened in court and in front of the judge. Gaurav reminds him how he used Gini to bribe Awasthi’s mother. Gaurav accuses Raghav of knowing he was going to lose, which is why he resorted to using Gini. Nandini interrupts, reminding Gaurav that he’s talking to his brother. Gaurav, however, continues criticizing Raghav, stating that Raghav was once his idol, but now he has stooped so low that he’ll never be able to look up to him again. Raghav dismisses this, saying winning is an art and that he never learned how to lose. He explains that defeating Anjali was crucial for his reputation. He also mentions that Padma and Anjali have been issued a show-cause notice, and in the next court hearing, Yuvraj will be released. Gaurav, however, tells Raghav that his sixth sense tells him Anjali will appear in court and defeat him. Gaurav leaves after spotting Gini and commenting on her.
Gini tells Raghav not to worry, as she’s sure Anjali won’t come to court. She then asks Raghav to make arrangements for her honeymoon with his son, stating that she just wants Abhay to fully accept her. Raghav says he will think about it.
Ganesh tells Anjali that she wasn’t defeated, but was forcefully made to lose. He says he thoroughly studied her case and that there was no way she could have lost, except for Sapna’s greed, which ruined her career. Sapna arrives and asks what Ganesh is talking about. Ganesh tells her that he’s speaking the truth—Anjali had a strong case against Raghav, but she lost because of Sapna. Sapna defends herself, saying she did it to save her daughter’s marriage. Ganesh counters, accusing Sapna of acting out of greed, not for her daughter’s sake. Padma arrives and tells Anjali that Pankaj has come to see her.
Anjali asks Pankaj why he’s there. Pankaj says he waited for them at the court on the day of the hearing, but neither she nor Padma showed up. Pankaj criticizes Anjali for abandoning Padma’s case for the sake of her mother’s happiness. He hopes she will attend the next court hearing. Anjali then reveals to Pankaj that Yuvraj came and threatened to molest Padma. Pankaj asks Anjali if she did anything about it. Anjali responds that she gave Yuvraj a fitting reply. Pankaj leaves.
Kamala calls Anjali and criticizes her for giving up the case against Raghav. Raghav overhears Kamala’s conversation with Anjali over the phone. He takes the phone and taunts Anjali, saying she will lose the case. Anjali tells Raghav to study the case again and see that he has no chance of winning, which is why he used Gini to bribe his mother.
