The episode starts with Raghav telling Kali that Aarti is his granddaughter and that she will get whatever she wants. Mehek asks everyone to leave everything aside and enjoy the event. Everyone starts dancing. Aarti and Mehek brighten up the occasion with their dance performance at Mehek and Yuvraj’s haldi. Kavya pulls Mehek into the dance. Yuvraj also dances with Mehek. While running, Aarti sees Ved and gets stunned. Kali notices them. Aarti leaves from there.
Everyone begins applying haldi to Mehek and Yuvraj. Kali signals Sadika. Sadika asks Aarti to apply haldi to Mehek and Yuvraj. As Aarti goes to apply, someone pushes her from behind, making her apply it to Ved instead. Kali says that Aarti can marry Ved and apply haldi to him once she agrees to her condition and withdraws all the cases. Aarti replies that she regrets saving Kali once and that her thinking irritates her. She is about to leave, but the family members urge Aarti to take back the cases to save Ved. They also tell her that Raghav has agreed to bring Anjali home if she withdraws them. Ved also pleads with Aarti to save him. Aarti leaves.
Kali destroys the decorations in anger, saying she won’t let anyone get Ved. Uday and Sonal remind her that it’s all part of their plan and ask her to control her rage. Kali collapses, confessing that she loves Ved and he belongs only to her. While leaving, Aarti thinks to herself that she loves Ved but now he is someone else’s husband.
Aarti comes home. Pankaj asks if she has returned from the Rajput house. Aarti questions what he is doing there. Pankaj says he is looking at the girl who once used to be a reporter and saved women from a trafficking ring that Kali was part of. He says he wonders where that girl has gone. Pankaj adds that it doesn’t feel like she is Anjali’s daughter and comments that it seems she doesn’t even want to catch her father’s murderer. He accuses Aarti of only wanting Anjali to become the Rajput family’s daughter-in-law. Aarti insists that she does want to find her father’s murderer. Pankaj says it is not possible because once she enters the Rajput mansion, the family will force her to withdraw her case, after which Raghav will marry her off to Ved. Aarti asks what he means. Ved arrives and says that Pankaj is right. Ved tells Aarti that she is his love and he is hers too. He asks her to withdraw the case, assuring her that then Kali will also leave him and they can be happy together.
Ved then tells Pankaj to leave and to forget about the case that happened 21 years ago. He leaves the choice to Aarti: whether to side with Pankaj and pursue her father’s murderer or marry him and live happily.
As Ved tries to leave, Pankaj reminds Aarti that Ved is right and she must make a choice. He asks her to decide and then walks away.
Ved tells Aarti that he will take her to Yuvraj’s baraat, promising that Kali will also leave her alone and they can live happily together. Kali witnesses all this from a distance and vows never to let go of Ved.

Precap: Bhajan calls Aarti as her well-wisher and tells her that her father’s murderer will be present at the baraat. He cuts the call. Kali, talking to herself, says that Aarti will be attacked at the baraat, and if she survives, she will be there to welcome her. Aarti is attacked by goons at the baraat, and Ved rushes to help her.
