The episode begins with Abhay talking to Aman over the phone, assuming he is Anjali’s husband. Abhay demands that Aman come over to prove Anjali is married. Aman confidently claims he is Anjali’s husband and says he will come right away. However, Aman struggles to find a way to leave the house as security guards surround it. Thinking quickly, Aman disguises himself in a saree, hides his face, and sneaks out.
Meanwhile, Gini reflects on recent events and begins to cry, fearing that Abhay might leave her for Anjali. Nandini and Ishani notice Gini’s distress and approach her to ask what’s wrong. Gini tells Nandini that Abhay has gone to see Anjali. She predicts a major scene will unfold today, suspecting that Abhay might bring Anjali to the house and ruin the Rajput family’s reputation. Nandini tries to calm Gini down and assures her that no such scene will occur. Determined to prevent any drama, Nandini and Ishani head to Anjali’s house.
At Anjali’s home, Abhay impatiently asks her how long he has to wait for her husband to show up. Anjali assures him that her husband will come soon. Aman, now outside, asks Stepney if anyone is with Anjali. Stepney confirms someone is there.
Gini calls Abhay and asks where he is. Abhay replies that he is in front of his sister. He then asks Gini if Anjali is really married. Gini dodges the question, while Anjali reiterates to Abhay that she is indeed married. Gini overhears this and later tells Abhay that Anjali is married. However, Abhay doesn’t believe her and disconnects the call. He then questions Anjali about her parents’ whereabouts. Anjali informs him they are not there.
Abhay notices Aman through the window and asks Anjali who he is. Anjali introduces Aman as her husband. She steps outside to speak to Aman. Abhay begins to suspect that Anjali is Aman’s love interest.
When Anjali approaches Aman, he praises her appearance, especially her sindoor. Anjali explains the situation and asks Aman to pretend to be her husband for a while. Aman agrees to help.
Anjali brings Aman inside, only to find that Abhay has disappeared. She searches for him and asks Stepney if he saw Abhay leave. Stepney confirms that Abhay just left.
Aman then inquires about the person who doubts their marriage. Anjali, still unaware that Abhay overheard their earlier conversation, tells Aman that the person has left. Watching from a distance, Abhay silently departs, convinced that Anjali and Aman are in love.
Anjali thanks Aman for his help, but Aman says that this time, a mere “thank you” is not enough. He asks Anjali to return the favor by pretending to be his wife for someone else. Anjali is taken aback and questions him, but Aman insists, reminding her of the times he has helped her. Reluctantly, Anjali agrees. Aman tells her he will bring a bridal dress for her.
