The episode starts with Ved hugging Aarti and he later gives a diamond necklace as a gift. Aarti asks Ved if this is for her. Ved says yes. Ved says to Aarti that he is going to give her a special gift later. Aarti asks Ved what is it. Ved says it is a surprise. Aarti thanks Ved and says to Ved that she doesn’t need all of this and says she only wants him. Ved hugs Aarti.
The Rajput family driver comes to Awasti’s house bearing gifts. Anjali and Padma ask the driver who has sent him here. The driver gets a call from Sadhika and he gives the phone to Anjali. Sadhika talks to Anjali over the phone. Sadhika asks Anjali if she received the Diwali’s gifts. Sadhika says to Anjali that they have sent clothes, jewelry. Sadhika says to Anjali that she knows Anjali will not accept those gifts and return them like last time. Sadhika comments on Anjali saying she is not worthy to be called a mother. Anjali asks Sadhika if she called her to insult her. Sadhika comments on it. Sadhika asks Anjali to wear the clothes and jewelry she sent them if Anjali wants to come to the engagement and cuts the call. Anjali asks the driver to take back all of these gifts. Padma stops Anjali and says to Anjali that Ganesh will go to the Rajput mansion as he is the one who raised Aarti. Padma asks Anjali not to ruin it. Padma takes the suit for Ganesh and she leaves from there. Anjali asks the driver to take all of these gifts and asks the driver to tell Sadhika that she doesn’t take charity. The driver agrees and leaves from there.
Raghav and Abhay greet the guests that have come to his home for Diwali and Ved& Aarti’s engagement. Vaibhav comes and says to Raghav that Gaurav and Nivedita do not want to come to the engagement ceremony as they think this is wrong. Raghav comments on them.
Raghav goes to greet the guests. The guests ask Raghav where is his daughter in law Anjali. Raghav says she will come in a while. Ganesh comes to the Rajput mansion.
Raghav comes and greets Ganesh and takes a picture with him. Raghav later asks Ganesh why has he come in these ordinary clothes and asks Ganesh what happened to the clothes that he sent. Ganesh says he will not take anything from his in-laws family and says if they do not want him here he will leave from here. Raghav says there is no need and says he can stay here. Ganesh mocks Raghav and reminds Raghav that he is the one who ho said in the past that in his house dogs, beggars and Awasti’s are not allowed but now he is greeting him. Raghav says today is his granddaughter’s engagement so he is not in a mood to fight. Ganesh comments on it. The guests ask Raghav where are the bride and groom. Aarti come downstairs. Ved also comes after a while.
The whole Rajput family and others dance to a song.
Anjali says to Pankaj that everyone will be at Aarti and Ved’s pre engagement ceremony. Aarti says they will take Ravi there and make him look at all the people as Ravi doesn’t know the name of the person who hired him but he saw that person’s face.
Padma asks Anjali not to go there today as it is Aarti and Ved’s pre engagement ceremony. Padma reminds Anjali that Aarti is her daughter. Anjali says her only goal in life is to find out the murderer of her husband Aman and put him behind bars. Anjali also says it still hasn’t been proven that Ved is married or not. Kali says Ved is married and if this engagement happens she will Anjali is not serious about her job. Anjali lashes out at Kali and asks Kali who is she to question her integrity towards law. Anjali warns Kali that if she learns Kali is behind the attempt on Aarti’s murder she will not leave Kali. Kali comments on it. Anjali and Pankaj later leave from there.
