The episode starts with Raghav asking Padma how Anjali is. Padma tells Raghav that Anjali is paralyzed. Raghav says it’s a lie and mentions that Yuvraj spoke to Anjali over the phone yesterday. Padma thinks to herself that Yuvraj actually spoke to Aarti over the phone. She then tells Raghav that it’s just a misunderstanding. Raghav tells Padma that they are coming to the house tomorrow. Padma asks Raghav not to come, saying that tomorrow is the wedding. Raghav asks whose wedding she is talking about, but Padma cuts the call.
Raghav tells Yuvraj that something fishy is going on and insists that they should go tomorrow. Yuvraj agrees and comments on the situation.
Later, Yuvraj looks at Aman’s photo and, in his heart, says that no one here knows he was the one who killed him. Yuvraj adds that he never intended to kill Aman but wanted to kill his wife Anjali — Aman just came in between.
Meanwhile, Aarti dances at her Haldi ceremony as the Awasthi family celebrates the occasion.
Sonal asks Ved if he is ready. Ved says yes. Sonal tells him the baraat is ready. Ved says he is going to take his mother’s painting with him. Sonal notices a canvas hidden under a cloth and asks Ved about it. Ved says it’s a gift for Aarti and makes a comment.
Uday and Pratap come to Ved. Uday asks if he is ready. Ved looks at his mother’s painting and says to her that he is bringing the daughter-in-law of this house today and asks for her blessings. Uday and Pratap lash out at Ved, frustrated that he keeps saying Aarti is going to join the family. Ved comments on it.
Raghav gets ready to leave for the Awasthi house with his family. Mehek asks where he is going. Raghav replies that he is going to see Anjali. Mehek questions why, since Anjali is paralyzed. Raghav says that Yuvraj spoke to Anjali over the phone and, if she has recovered, she might come to demand a share of the property as Aman’s widowed wife—something he cannot allow. He prepares to leave.
Mehek stops him and reminds him of the family tradition—not to visit a relative’s house empty-handed—and insists they should at least take sweets since Anjali is the daughter-in-law of the house. She also requests Raghav to bring Anjali home if possible. Raghav fumes at Mehek, says it’s not possible, and dismisses her request. He and the others leave.
Mehek worries that Raghav and the others are going to insult Anjali. She decides to warn Padma and calls her. Kali answers the call. Mehek asks if Anjali or Padma is available. Kali says Padma can’t come as she is busy with Aarti’s wedding preparations and cuts the call.
Mehek is puzzled about the wedding and wonders who Aarti is. She decides to go with them.
