The episode starts with Padma telling Ved that the sindoor used in his marriage with Kali was fake, and the Sindoor Daan ritual never actually happened. Padma adds that Aarti also knows about this truth. Ved asks Padma why Aarti didn’t inform him. Padma replies that Aarti didn’t want to ruin his marriage with Kali because of her. Padma then warns Ved not to reveal to anyone that she told him this and cuts the call.
Ved thanks Lord Ganesh for this news and leaves to meet Aarti. Sonal asks him where he is going, but Ved ignores her. When Kali asks Sonal, she says she doesn’t know—Ved just left without informing anyone. Sonal then notices Ved taking out his car and informs the family. Kali says she knows where Ved is going—most likely to meet Aarti. The Rajvanshi family follows him in their car.
Meanwhile, Aarti and Pankaj are seen celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi in Anjali’s neighborhood. Aarti performs a devotional dance for Lord Ganesh.
Ved arrives and applies sindoor to Aarti’s forehead. Ved confesses his love for her and says he can only see her as his wife. Aarti slaps him and scolds him for committing such a misdeed in front of Lord Ganesh. Ved insists that he loves Aarti and claims his marriage with Kali was fake. Kali and the Rajvanshi family arrive and witness the drama. Ved takes sindoor from Lord Ganesh’s feet and attempts to apply it to Aarti.
Kali stops him, reminding Ved that his marriage is with her, and as long as she is alive, he cannot marry another woman. Ved counters that their marriage is fake—just like the sindoor used then. Kali accuses Aarti of plotting everything, leaving Aarti shocked.
Kali warns Ved that if he tries to marry Aarti, she will have him arrested for abducting her and attempting to sell her. She also threatens to get Uday, Pratap, and Sonal arrested. Sonal argues, reminding Kali that they were the ones who brought her here, but Kali silences her.
Kali then grabs Ved’s hand filled with sindoor and makes him apply it to her hairline, declaring this sindoor as real since it came from Lord Ganesh’s feet. Ved looks helplessly at Aarti, while Aarti turns her face away.

Precap: Ved tries to answer Aarti’s question over the phone, but Kali snatches the phone and reminds Aarti that she warned her not to talk to Ved behind her back. Kali further taunts Aarti, saying Ved has ruined her painting by throwing paint on it and tearing it apart. She declares that Ved will now spend the whole night making a painting of her.
