The episode starts with Anjali telling Raghav that Yuvraj is mistreating Mehek. Raghav asks Anjali not to talk about his son-in-law. He tells Mehek to adjust with her in-laws. Anjali says that even women have self-respect. Sadika asks Anjali to stop creating a scene and says she can stay here if she wants. They all leave. Anjali goes inside.
Yuvraj warns Mehek not to tell anyone that he doesn’t love her and that his family is troubling her. He tells Mehek to maintain a fake smile and leaves.
Anjali comes to Mehek and asks her not to cry. She gives a necklace to Mehek and asks her to wear it. She says, “You’re newly married, so get ready and try to live happily.” In tears, Mehek asks, “With whom should I stay happy?” Anjali assures her, saying, “I’m with you.” She puts the necklace and earrings on Mehek and gets her ready.
Mehek says everyone misunderstands Anjali in this house, but she is the best. Anjali asks Mehek to maintain her smile and says they should go for the Aarti and Haldi ceremony. They turn and see Kavya standing there. Mehek asks why she is here. Kavya says she came to see the haldi drama. Mehek tells her she snatched the necklace but didn’t wear it. Kavya says it’s her choice and she doesn’t want Mehek to wear any jewellery. She asks how she got another necklace. Anjali says she gave it to her Nanand and asks Kavya to stay within her limits. She leaves with Mehek. Kavya vows to ruin Mehek’s life by turning Yuvraj against her. She adds that it’s a haldi ritual today, but no one knows bloodshed will happen soon.
Rajput ladies and others perform Aarti and Ved’s Haldi grandly. Everyone participates happily. Kali watches everything from afar in tears. Ved dances with the men’s group, and Aarti dances with the women’s group.
Sadika takes haldi to Kali and applies it to her, saying, “Last time you didn’t have any of these rituals with Ved, and even your marriage with him was fake with fake sindoor. But don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone.” She adds that Anjali will come with a court order, and they will see if she comes as Aarti’s mother or as an advocate. She asks Kali to apply haldi.
Kali applies haldi to Sadika’s face and says, “Ved is mine, and I love him so much. I will become his bride. I will marry Ved, not Aarti.” She leaves. Sadika thinks this marriage will not happen—either she will stop it, or Anjali will stop it, or Gini will.
Gini calls Anjali. Anjali asks why she called. Gini says today should be the Haldi ceremony. She says nothing in her own marriage happened properly and only the sindoor daan ritual took place. She says everything is happening for Aarti and declares she won’t let Aarti’s marriage happen. She threatens to spill blood in the Rajput family and cuts the call.
Sanya asks Anjali what happened. Anjali says Rani Majumdar called her and says she was once the daughter-in-law of the Rajput family, but now she wants to kill everyone—and Abhay is the reason for it.
Kavya complains to Rati about Mehek creating a scene by going to the Rajput family with a bare neck. She says Anjali herself put the necklace on Mehek. Kavya tells Rati she wants the necklace Mehek is wearing. Rati tells Kavya to stop. Yuvraj comes and criticizes Mehek.
Mehek asks Yuvraj why he is behaving this way. She reminds him how much he used to love her. Kavya comments. Rati asks Kavya to go freshen up. Kavya says the geyser isn’t working and she asked Mehek to heat water for her. Mehek says she will do it. Yuvraj also asks Mehek to heat water for him. Mehek agrees and leaves.
Anjali calls Mehek and asks if she talked to Yuvraj. Mehek says he will tell her everything and asks Anjali to give her some time. Anjali tells her she has time only until evening. Mehek agrees.
Gini calls Yuvraj and warns him that Anjali should not know about the location. She says if Anjali finds out, he will die. Mehek comes and tells Yuvraj the hot water is ready. Yuvraj asks if she can’t see he is on a call. Mehek reminds him he asked for it. Kavya says it’s not hot enough and forcibly puts Mehek’s hand into the hot water. Mehek screams in pain. Kavya raises her hand to hit her, but Rati stops her. Rati asks Mehek what happened. Mehek says nothing and leaves. Rati scolds Kavya. Kavya says she will torture Mehek to take revenge on the Rajput family.
Rati tells Yuvraj to tend to Mehek’s wound.
Yuvraj comes and lashes out at Mehek for shouting. Mehek asks what else she could do. She asks where Padma is, or else Anjali will put him in jail. Yuvraj accuses her of trying to frame him so she can enjoy with another man. Mehek slaps him. Kavya asks Yuvraj why he isn’t slapping her back.
Mehek gets a call from Anjali. Anjali asks if Yuvraj told her anything. Mehek says no. Yuvraj snatches the phone and tells Anjali to stay out of the case. He warns that if she tries to save Padma, he will kill Mehek. He cuts the call. On Anjali’s side, Ved overhears the entire conversation.
Ved comes to Thakur Mansion and asks Rati where Yuvraj is. Yuvraj says he is here.
