The episode begins with Raghav asking Aarti if she’s all right. Aarti replies that she’s fine but reveals that Kali tried to kill her — Kali had called Aarti to the market and sent her men to attack her. Aarti says she managed to teach them a lesson and proved that she will never be defeated. Raghav tells Aarti not to go out anymore; he doesn’t want to lose her because she is his son’s last hope. He promises to handle Kali in court and asks her to stay home until the engagement. He also instructs his son to file an attempted-murder case against Kali, vowing to once again ensure justice is served.
Pankaj shows Ravi to Anjali and says that Ravi was the driver of the truck that caused Aman’s and Anjali’s accident 21 years ago. Anjali asks whether Ravi suffered burn injuries in that blast. Pankaj says no — Ravi jumped from the vehicle when he realized an accident was about to happen and later became apparently deaf and mute. Anjali proposes a medical examination. Pankaj agrees.
Anjali, saying they don’t have much time, asks to borrow one of Pankaj’s bullets. He reluctantly hands over his service revolver. To prove Ravi is feigning his disability, Anjali points the gun at her own head and cries, “I will die, sir — I don’t want to live.” Pankaj moves to stop her, and in the ensuing scene Anjali deliberately fires a shot near Ravi. Ravi screams in fear. Anjali declares that this proves Ravi is not deaf and mute. Pankaj praises her.
Anjali presses Ravi to reveal who hired him to kill Aman. Pankaj tries to extract a confession and hits Ravi. Ravi says he doesn’t know who they are, only that he was paid ₹1 lakh to cause the accident 21 years ago. Pankaj threatens him, but Ravi refuses to name names. When asked if he can identify the person who hired him, Ravi says yes. Anjali tells Pankaj they should bring Ravi to Aarti’s Diwali engagement so he can identify her husband’s killer. She warns Ravi not to attempt escape — otherwise he’ll face ACP Pankaj’s wrath.
Pankaj receives a call and tells Anjali that Aarti has filed a complaint claiming the morning attack in the market was carried out by Kali. Later, at home, Anjali confronts Kali about where she was that morning. Kali insists she stayed at home. Padma accuses Kali of lying — she went to call Kali for lunch but Kali wasn’t home. Kali now claims she went to the Hanuman temple to pray for Ved. Anjali points out the police complaint and demands to know why Aarti accused her. Kali accuses Aarti of filing false cases and insults Charita. Anjali warns her not to speak against Aarti or Charita and insists she name the temple she visited.
Padma accuses Kali of faking tears. Kali snaps that Aarti’s family can never understand her feelings and threatens to leave. Anjali stops her and reveals that Aarti has filed an attempted-murder complaint against Kali. Kali calls the whole thing a conspiracy between Aarti and Raghav. Padma urges Anjali to call Aarti to learn the truth, but Anjali refuses — she vows to create a scene at Aarti and Ved’s engagement on Diwali night.
Ved calls Anjali, telling her Kali tried to harm his fiancée and asking why Anjali still wants to defend Kali. He accuses Anjali of worshipping the law at the cost of personal relationships and pleads with her to believe Aarti. “I love your daughter and I will protect her,” he says, adding that Anjali is doing an injustice by opposing Aarti and Raghav. Anjali retorts that she experienced injustice herself and warns that the engagement celebration will ignite a spark that will expose the person who harmed her and her husband. She ends the call.
Aarti asks Ved what his mother said. Ved replies that Anjali isn’t willing to drop the case — she’s kanoonan ka poojari (a devotee of the law). He begs Aarti not to leave the house and says he would be devastated if anything happened to her. Aarti is touched by his devotion; they embrace and exchange “I love yous,” sharing a tender moment.

Precap: The Rajput and Rajyavanshi families gather for Ved and Aarti’s pre-engagement ceremony. Anjali tells Pankaj that everyone will be present at the Diwali pre-engagement. Anjali plans to bring Ravi so he can identify the man who hired him — Ravi may not know the name, but he recognizes the face. Padma begs Anjali not to ruin Aarti and Ved’s ceremony, reminding her Aarti is her daughter. Anjali replies that her only goal is to find Aman’s murderer and put him behind bars.
