The episode starts with Anjali handing Raghav his outfit and asking him to wear it. Raghav expresses surprise at seeing Anjali in a saree, noting that instead of law books, she’s holding clothes. Anjali tells Raghav that one should never come in front of a lion when it’s roaming freely in the jungle. She adds that the lion has entered the cage willingly and can leave it whenever it wants.
Sadhika arrives and questions how Anjali can speak to Raghav that way. She comments that Anjali has become so used to arguing in court that she’s now arguing with her father-in-law. Anjali replies that it was Raghav who started the argument. She says she’s only taking part in this wedding for Mehek’s sake—otherwise, she would have never participated—and makes a pointed remark.
Padma asks Prakash who he is. Prakash introduces himself as Prakash Tripathi and says he is the one who burned his wife to ashes. He adds that now he, Yuvraj, and Chandraman are going to kill her too. He knocks Padma unconscious using chloroform and takes her away. Sapna witnesses this and chases after Prakash in an auto.
Gaurav approaches Raghav and says that Anjali is fulfilling all her duties as a daughter-in-law and that it would be wrong of Raghav not to give her the respect she deserves. Gaurav then sarcastically remarks that Raghav is going to be famous for choosing someone like Yuvraj for Mehek.
Gini asks Gaurav to stop rubbing salt in the wounds and informs Raghav that the press has arrived—she made them sit downstairs. Gini adds that today’s news headline will be about how Anjali is marrying off her sister-in-law to Yuvraj as if she’s sold herself, and makes a critical comment. Raghav says he’ll go and get ready.
Meanwhile, Sapna tries calling Anjali. Bhajan answers Anjali’s phone. Sapna, thinking it’s Anjali, says that Padma has been abducted. Bhajan stays silent, cuts the call, and turns off the phone. Sanya walks in and asks Bhajan what he’s doing. Bhajan replies that he’s looking for Raghav. Sanya informs him that Raghav is welcoming Yuvraj. Upon hearing this, Bhajan quickly leaves. Sanya wonders why Bhajan is there and becomes suspicious when she sees Anjali’s phone, suspecting that Bhajan is up to something.
Yuvraj requests Sadhika to allow Anjali to perform his Aarti. Gini agrees and tells Sadhika that they should fulfill Yuvraj’s wish, making a comment about it.
