The episode begins with Ganesh acting erratically in front of everyone. Anjali and Sapna try to calm him down, but Raju and Aniket notice that Ganesh seems mentally disturbed. Concerned, Raju steps aside to call Yuvraj and informs him about Ganesh’s condition, mentioning that Ganesh is wandering around the neighborhood with his belt. Yuvraj, pleased to hear this, vows to take revenge on Anjali and her family.
Anjali and Sapna manage to take Ganesh away from the scene. As they arrive home, Anjali notices her scooter parked right outside her house, which surprises her, as they had sold it and given her the money. She asks Sapna to take Ganesh inside and then questions Stepney about the scooter. Aman steps forward, explaining that it’s a Diwali gift. He assures Anjali that he will always bring back whatever she loses. In front of the whole neighborhood, Aman confesses his love for Anjali and wishes her a Happy Diwali, which she reciprocates. Noticing tears in her eyes, Aman calls them “pearls” and then leaves.
Anjali glances at Ganesh, recalling recent events, and decides to call Pankaj. When he answers, he comments on her living a seemingly carefree life and says he regrets ever calling her “Agnishika.” He asks her not to call him again. Anjali, however, tells Pankaj that she knows who humiliated her father and explains that Ganesh was severely beaten, and she didn’t have the money for his treatment. She shares how her sister called Sapna a maid and insulted her, and describes the whole incident. Anjali then reveals that Chandraman and Yuvraj were responsible for Ganesh’s humiliation. When Pankaj asks if there were any witnesses, Anjali remembers how everyone is fearful of Chandraman and Yuvraj. She asks Ganesh to tell Pankaj who humiliated him, but Ganesh speaks incoherently and doesn’t name anyone. Anjali apologizes to Pankaj for not being able to provide a witness, adding that she must prioritize caring for her father.
As she contemplates her situation, Padma arrives with food, prompting Anjali to ask where she got it. Padma mentions that there’s a market nearby.

Precap: Anjali comes to the the court and sees that her table and type writer are missing. Bhajan and Raghav come to Anjali and say to Anjali that they sold it. Raghav says to Anjali he wants to wipe off all of her existence in this court. Anjali asks Raghav how will she earn money without her work. Yuvraj comes to Anjali and asks Anjali to beg outside the court and gives her a bowl.
