Aarti insults Anjali, which leaves Anjali furious. In anger, Anjali slaps Aarti. Aarti warns Anjali never to raise her hand again, saying that Anjali has lost that right, and then walks away.
Ved tells Anjali that he will take his leave. Anjali explains to Ved that her marriage to Abhay is only a deal. Ved asks her what she means. Anjali reveals that Abhay promised to buy the basti for ₹200 crores and hand it over to the basti residents, ensuring they have a roof over their heads. Hearing this, Ved touches Anjali’s feet and calls her a goddess before leaving. Padma asks Anjali what she will do if Abhay demands his rights as her husband. Anjali replies that she would kill him if it came to that and declares that she belongs only to Aman. Padma praises Anjali, and Anjali leaves.
At the Rajput house, Vaibhav and Sadhika reprimand Abhay for wanting to spend ₹200 crores on the basti for Anjali. Abhay asks Raghav why he is silent. Raghav tells the family that he will give the money, but first he wants to speak to Anjali. Abhay calls Anjali and hands the phone to Raghav.
Raghav tells Anjali that he is ready to pay ₹200 crores to buy the basti, but he has one condition. When Anjali asks what it is, Raghav pleads with her to save Mehek, explaining how the Thakur family is torturing her and that he only wants his daughter to be safe. Vaibhav snatches the phone and tells Anjali that she will not get a single rupee. Abhay shouts at Vaibhav.
Vaibhav argues with Raghav, claiming that he and Sadhika also have rights in the house. He demands his share of the property and says Raghav can do whatever he wants afterward. Sadhika supports Vaibhav. Raghav challenges them, asking what they will do if he refuses.
In a fit of rage, Vaibhav grabs Raghav by the collar. Enraged, Raghav slaps Vaibhav. Bhajan holds Raghav’s hand and declares that he will not allow him to give even a single rupee to Anjali. Abhay criticizes them for their behavior.
Abhay calls Gini and tells her that he wants to buy the land. Gini asks him to come with the money, and Abhay agrees. Gini instructs a goon to inform Damodar that Abhay and Anjali are coming with the money to purchase the land. The goon leaves. Gini smirks, thinking that she will kill Abhay and Anjali on the mandap.
Yuvraj speaks to his girlfriend on the phone and tells her that he will take her on a long drive as it is New Year’s Eve. Mehek overhears and asks whom he is talking to. Yuvraj casually admits it is his girlfriend. Mehek is shattered and reminds him that they are married. Yuvraj says she is not his wife because she left him on their first night, claiming that he has never touched her and has been involved with other women. He orders Mehek to change her clothes, saying that women from good families do not wear Western outfits.
Anjali intervenes and exposes Yuvraj’s hypocrisy, saying that while he judges women’s clothing, he freely has affairs outside. Yuvraj arrogantly agrees, saying it is his life. Enraged, Anjali slaps Yuvraj.
