The episode starts with Kali escaping from the goons. She passes by Ved. Pratap orders his henchmen to catch her, and they begin chasing her.
Meanwhile, Aarti, while traveling in an auto, is on a call with Laal. She tells him that she has recorded the entire human trafficking ring, showing how women are being sold.
Aarti then spots Kali being chased by the goons on the road. She tells Laal that she’s found another sensational story and asks him to disconnect the call. Aarti then instructs the auto driver to record what’s about to happen.
Aarti fights off the goons and rescues Kali. She then tells Kali that she will take her to the police station. Padma calls Aarti and tells her to speak with Anjali, as she is refusing to eat. Aarti says she’ll call back once she reaches the police station and ends the call, taking Kali with her.
At the police station, Aarti learns from a constable that the inspector has gone to a mehfil. Suspicious, Aarti then notices the goons arriving at the station, presumably to look for Kali. She quickly covers Kali’s face and sneaks her out.
Meanwhile, Padma tries to feed Anjali, but Anjali refuses to eat. Aarti calls Padma and asks if Anjali is still not eating. Padma confirms. Aarti says she knows Anjali won’t eat without hearing from her. She then requests Anjali to eat and sings a Lohri for her. Anjali finally eats. Aarti later tells Kali that her mother Anjali doesn’t eat unless she talks to her, adding that Anjali cannot walk or speak and is living like a dead body.

Precap: Uday calls Bhajan and tells him that his son’s wedding has been fixed. Bhajan congratulates him and asks Ved’s uncle who the bride is.
Aarti tells her family about how she covered the story and also saved a girl, introducing Kali to them. Aarti asks Anjali if Kali can stay with them and tells her to blink her eyes to say yes. Ganesh says Anjali will never blink. But Anjali blinks her eyes.
