The episode begins with Padma telling Aarti that Anjali has eaten her food and urges her to return home quickly. Aarti agrees but says she wants to do a story on Kali first. Anjali then ends the call.
Later, Ved calls Aarti and speaks with her over the phone. He tells her that he is coming to Mumbai and will meet her so they can finally talk. Aarti agrees. Ved asks if she has seen his photo, to which Aarti replies that she hasn’t. She says that’s what makes it interesting—they’ve never seen each other’s faces, yet they are getting married. Aarti says she’ll talk to him later and hangs up. She then leaves for the railway station with Kali in an auto.
Raghav looks at Aman’s photo and reminisces about him. Gaurav tells Raghav that even after all these years, he still misses Aman, but reminds him that Aman had once asked them to cut ties with Anjali—whom Aman had loved the most. Gaurav suggests bringing Anjali home and starting her treatment. However, Raghav sternly tells him not to mention Anjali’s name and makes a harsh remark about her.
Abhay joins the conversation and reminds Gaurav how their once-happy home has been lifeless for years—and blames Anjali. He says Anjali was the intended target, but Aman ended up paying the price for being in that car. Gaurav then asks Raghav and Abhay whether they really have no remaining relationship with Anjali. Vaibhav arrives and tells Gaurav that ever since Aman’s death, Anjali—whom he refers to as “that widow”—no longer has any ties with their family.
Gaurav reminds Raghav that Anjali used to carry a baby and questions him about it. Raghav replies that the baby is as good as dead to him—just like Anjali. He says his only focus now is to find the person responsible for Aman’s death.
Bhajan arrives and tells Raghav that he won’t be able to find Aman’s killer after 21 years, especially since the case is closed. Gaurav questions Bhajan about whose name came up in the investigation—was it Chandraman, Yuvraj, or Bhajan himself? Mehek steps in and reminds Gaurav that Bhajan is the Rajput family’s son-in-law and he shouldn’t be spoken to that way over an old case.
Meanwhile, Uday calls Bhajan. Bhajan asks why he’s calling and if it’s about a case. He reminds Uday that Raghav isn’t handling cases anymore and says he’ll take care of it. Uday clarifies that it’s not about a case—Ved’s wedding has been fixed. Bhajan congratulates him and asks who the bride is.
Elsewhere, Aarti tells Ganesh and Padma how she sneaked into the godown and recorded footage of their human trafficking activities. She says she also saved a girl and introduces Kali to them. Aarti informs them that Kali will now be staying with them. Padma and Ganesh object, but Aarti reminds Padma that she too was once like Kali and that Anjali had saved her—so she should extend the same support to Kali.
Later, Aarti requests Anjali to let Kali stay and asks her to blink if she agrees. Anjali blinks. Aarti takes it as a yes and lets Kali stay.
