The episode starts with the guest insulting Saraswati. Rastogi comments that Apollena doesn’t know to cook a kheer. How did she choose Apollena as her daughter-in-law. She added salt in the kheer. Shlok asks Irani to eat the kheer. She realises that she dreamt about it. The guest eats the kheer and praised the taste of it. Mrs. Singh says that she didn’t tasted this before. Irani gets upset to hear it. She thinks how did the salt changed? Shlok recalls the way he stops Apollena from adding salt into the kheer. She apologized to him. She says that she was concentrated on the lecture so she didn’t check it. He asks her to listen to the lecture he will help her. Shlok feels happy to see everyone praising his mom. He goes to meet Apollena. He says to her that little left for them to eat. Apollena asks him to eat it reasoning she avoids eating sugar for her training. She has to maintain her diet to control her weight. He says that he added the sugar so it’s very tasty. She saved his mom’s name. Meanwhile, Rastogi says to Sarswati that her daughter-in-law didn’t cooked the kheer with rice.
She isn’t following any rituals here. Her son is supporting her blindly. He shouldn’t go against his mother for Apollena. Sarswati says that it won’t happen. She is his world. Rastogi says that all son will love mother till he get married. He shouldn’t kick her out of this house for his wife. Sarswati thinks that Apollena made her embarassed in front of her friends. Meanwhile, Shlok asks Apollena to wear the nuptial chain and vermilion on her hairline. She refuses to wear it reasoning it’s just a deal for them. She didn’t accepted this wedding. Shlok asks her to pretend like his wife for his mom’s sake. It will take only few minutes. She wears it. He asks her to apply the vermilion too. She denied it reasoning its chemical. There is many chances to get cancer by applying it. He says that it’s their tradition to apply vermilion. They didn’t get any cancer it. She says that they prepared vermillion naturally. But this vermilion available in the market which is mix of chemical. Recently they finds out led content is in it. He asks her not to take a class to him. Sarswati hears it all. She asks him why did he married to her? She didn’t followed their any rituals yet.
Sarswati says that she is going to conduct muh dikhai rasam. She shouldn’t do anything there which make her bend her head down. She leaves from there. Shlok says to Apollena that he can bear anything but not the tears on his mom’s eyes. She says that her hands is paining. He leaves her in anger. Sarswati coveted her face with a dhuppatta. She says that she will definitely complete the rituals today. Later, Bittu asks Girdar to repair the radio. He repairs it for him. He asks him to listen to the program. He is surprised to hear Neil singing in it. He gives the credits to his family members for supported him. He feels disappointed when his father didn’t recognised his talent. Girdar feels guilty for that. Meanwhile, Apollena loses her balance but Shlok holds her and carried her on his arms. Everyone teases him. Irani disliked it. She hears Sarswati asking Shlok not to show her face thoroughly to everyone or else they will find out she isn’t applying vermilion. Everyone praised Apollena’s beauty. Irani opens her veil. She is shocked to see the vermilion on her hairline. Shlok thanked Apollena for it. Later, Shlok and Apollena are discussing about the incident. Irani instigates Sarswati against Apollena.
