The episode starts with Lavanya sharing her plans with her aunt Pinky about Rajat. She recalls Rajat’s words. Pinky asks her what’s the problem is to execute it. Lavanya blames Baani. She also shares with Pinky about her condition to Rajat. Meanwhile, Mahir advises Baani to move on in her life just like Rajat. He also warns her about Lavanya’s character. Baani tells him that she cares about the Khanna’s who chose her over their son. Just then, Mannat arrives there wearing a dress of Mahir’s grandmother’s time. Mahir, his grandmother, and Baani compliment Mannat’s look.
At night, Poonam gets upset, learning that Baani is doing overwork to meet their everyday needs. Baani reaches home. The entire family gets annoyed by Gunit’s act. Baani stops both Bhishan and Gaurav from confronting Gunit, saying she will speak with him. But the roof of their house breaks. They all get injured. Everyone comes out before the entire building collapses. Baani and others realise Rinku is stuck inside, so both Baani and Gaurav go and take Rinku outside. Baani gets hurt.
There, Rajat smiles while dreaming about Baani. Lavanya arrives, and she tries to get romantic with Rajat. The latter gets uncomfortable. Just then, he receives Gini’s call. He learns about his family’s state, so he leaves from there. Lavanya gets furious. Meanwhile, Nandu pleads with the Khanna’s to stay in her house. Bhishan refuses. Just then, Rajat arrives there. He controls his emotions seeing Baani’s state. He pleads with Bhishan and his family to go with him to Lavanya’s house, who will not have a problem with them staying there. But Bhishan firmly refuses it. Also, he demands Rajat to leave from there.
Satish comes to meet the Khanna’s. He insists the Khanna’s to stay with him in their house. Bhishan refuses. Rajat remains worried about his family. Nandu arrives there. She insists the Khanna’s to stay in her house, saying they all helped her during her difficult times, so now it’s her turn. Rajat goes inside. He controls his emotions seeing Baani. He recalls Lavanya’s condition, so he puts up an act in front of Baani by accusing her of Khanna’s current situation. He then demands her to change his family members decision to accompany him to Lavanya’s house, and he leaves from there. Baani gets confused.
At night, Rajat visits the Khanna’s. He tells Baani I love you. Baani wakes up and gets confused, not seeing Rajat. Rajat returns to Lavanya’s house. He remains worried for Baani and his family. He also feels guilty for blaming Baani. The next day, Rajat’s behaviour during breakfast upsets Lavanya. But she pretends to be worried about his family. After Rajat goes inside, Lavanya shares with Pinky about her disdain for the Khanna’s. But she continues to pretend so that Rajat can fully become her. Meanwhile, Rajat learns through Gini about Khanna’s well-being. Lavanya arrives and continues her act, which angers Rajat, but he controls it. There, Baani gets shocked when Minty shares the reason behind her lack of interest in going to school. She gets determined not to give up.
