The episode starts with Bebe scolding Poonam for her choice of diya. Just then, Bhishan brings things from the market. Bebe scolds Bhishan. Bhishan complains to them about Bebe and Poonam being in a team. Poonam expresses her sadness with the family about their daughter-in-laws sacrifice to save Rajat. Bebe assures Poonam that everything will change. Rajat, who hears their conversation, decides to speak with Baani, who is in the kitchen preparing a dish under Charan’s guidance through a video call. Rajat and Baani stare at each other. Rajat decides to get an answer from Baani. Baani thinks in her mind that once the festival is over, she will inform Rajat about everything. Seeing Rajat, Charan disconnects Baani’s call. Before Rajat can speak with Baani, Gini arrives there and informs him that his boss is here. Rajat gets surprised.
The entire family invites Amrik inside their house. But the latter refuses also, and he insists Rajat go with him to the office for a meeting. Rajat agrees. He leaves with Amrik to his office. Baani gets worried. So she gives an excuse to the family members and leaves to Rajat’s office. In Rajat’s office, he informs the investigation officer Mehndiratta and his team that he is the one handling Sippy pharmaceuticals confidential file. So the officer sends other employees out except Rajat saying he wants to investigate him. Meanwhile, Lavanya gets shocked learning about the investigation, so she rushes to the office.
Later, Lavanya speaks with Mehndiratta and his team members, assuring their employees won’t get involved in any illegal work. She also allows them to investigate Rajat. Meanwhile, Baani tries to enter Rajat’s office, but she learns that the security officers are investigating him, which increases her worries even more. There, Nakul receives Lavanya’s call, who questions him about sending an investigation officer to her office to trap Rajat. She threatens him, but Nakul clarifies he isn’t involved in any of this. Also, he has helped someone with the information Baani has stolen from her office. He advises her to use this opportunity wisely.
Mehndiratta and his team passes a crude remarks on Rajat, so the latter defends himself. They inform him, through his laptop that only information got leaked. Rajat gets shocked. Officers then ask Lavanya to show them CCTV footage. Lavanya recalls the footage she has in her phone. So she lies to them. CCTVs aren’t working in the office. She also takes Rajat’s side and sends them from there. Meanwhile, Baani confronts Nakul for breaking his promise. Nakul explains he isn’t behind all this and then leaves. Baani gets confused.
In Khanna’s house, everyone gets shocked when Aastha brings Purab home. Gaurav cautions her about Purab, but Aastha refuses to listen to him. Bhishan advises Aastha, but she shouts at her family for not having a problem with Baani’s stock market investment but Purab’s investment. Everyone feels helpless. Meanwhile, Lavanya instructs Amrik to terminate Rajat, and then she leaves. Rajat pleads with Amrik to trust him, but the latter refuses. Later, Rajat gets confused seeing the pen drive he has given to Baani at his cabin. He also learns through the security about Baani’s visit to his office. He demands Baani to meet him in a place. Baani meets Rajat, where she faces his questions.
