The episode starts with Sunny, Nitya, and Sonia arriving at the office, where they are shocked to see Rishabh Kapoor. Rishabh greets them and introduces himself as the new Managing Director of the company, leaving everyone stunned.
Meanwhile, Bhagyashree returns home and questions how Rishabh managed to enter her company. She fumes that though he has money, this time she won’t let him play with her heart. Nikhil tries to calm her down and invites her for tea, but she refuses, saying Rishabh has already ruined the first day of the New Year. Just then, Padma and Vinay arrive and ask Bhagyashree why she looks so tense. They hear drilling sounds, open the door, and are shocked to see Rishabh fixing his nameplate.
Rishabh greets Bhagyashree’s parents and reveals that he is their new neighbour. Vinay loses his cool and demands a society meeting.
In the society meeting, Bhagyashree’s family appeals to the society to throw Rishabh out. However, the LGBTQ group members are delighted to see Rishabh back and warmly hug him. Patil points out that Rishabh already owns 50 out of 100 flats, so they can’t force him to vacate. Vinay calls Rishabh a fraud, but Patil counters, reminding everyone that many of them, including Vinay’s family, are staying in Rishabh’s company-owned flats. Rishabh agrees to a fair voting process. The LGBTQ ladies pledge their support to him, leaving Bhagyashree upset as she storms out.
Bhagyashree later contacts Mayur and asks him to book a hotel for her. She begins packing her luggage. Padma questions her, but Bhagyashree insists it’s better to shift to a hotel because she can’t bear seeing Rishabh everywhere. Padma asks her to stop overreacting, but Bhagyashree argues that Rishabh entered her company as the boss and is now her neighbour—she won’t let him rule her life.
The voting concludes, and Mukul Chadda announces that Rishabh has received the majority of votes, allowing him to stay in the society. The LGBTQ ladies celebrate while Vinay furiously asks Revati if she was the one who cast the final vote in Rishabh’s favour.
Meanwhile, Rishabh stops Bhagyashree from leaving and reminds her that she can’t vacate the flat without giving prior notice to the company. He insists she has no choice but to stay. Bhagyashree accuses him of doing everything intentionally. While leaving, her dupatta accidentally falls on Rishabh’s face, reminding them both of their past. Rishabh gently kisses the dupatta, but Bhagyashree snatches it back and walks to her apartment.
At the office meeting, Rishabh addresses the employees, saying last month’s performance was poor but now, with him in charge, things will improve. Some employees whisper that they wouldn’t mind working on Sundays since their new boss is attractive. Rishabh then asks Bhagyashree about her shampoo brand. He signals Sunny to check, and Sunny lists the products after smelling her hair. Rishabh declares that their next product will be a similar one, and Bhagyashree will promote it. Bhagyashree refuses, saying it’s not her expertise and suggests Sunny handle it. But Rishabh insists it’s for the company’s growth, promising to guide her, before concluding the meeting.
On the other hand, Revati asks her parents if they are ready to meet her fiancé. They happily agree and start discussing the preparations. Revati reveals that her fiancé is coming along with his family.
Later, Nikhil approaches Bhagyashree and advises her not to lose patience. He tells her he has a plan to deal with their new boss, Rishabh. Suddenly, the power goes out at the office. In the dark, Nikhil kneels before Bhagyashree.
