The episode starts with Bhagyashree, Rishabh, and her family meeting Meenakshi’s family for dinner. Meenakshi and her mother say that Bhagyashree is very lucky. Bhagyashree quietly leaves the table, and Rishabh follows her, asking what’s wrong. Bhagyashree says, “My family loves me, and yet I’m lying to them again.”
From a distance, Vinay notices Bhagyashree is upset and tells Padma, “She looks troubled.” Padma replies, “Rishabh will handle her.” Rishabh gently comforts Bhagyashree, saying, “Tears don’t suit your eyes,” and hands her his kerchief to wipe them. Padma remarks, “Rishabh loves Bhagyashree just like you do.”
Meanwhile, Sowmya searches for proof and notices that the addresses in Bhagyashree and Rishabh’s passports are different. She also checks Rishabh’s bank account and finds it empty.
Later, Rishabh arrives at Bhagyashree’s family gathering carrying drinks, leaving everyone shocked. Vinay tells Padma, “This is against our culture.” As Bhagyashree tries to stop him, Rishabh clarifies, “It’s just Panakam,” and serves it. Karthik comments, “Panakam in a wine glass? That’s something new!” Vinay thinks to himself, I expected my son-in-law to be sophisticated, but this man is the exact opposite and won’t stop talking.
Later, Karthik says that Shekhar and his family really liked Rishabh. Vinay, still fuming, asks angrily, “Why hasn’t he arrived yet?” Padma asks him why he’s upset. Vinay replies, “Tomorrow is the society meeting. What if people question Bhagyashree and Rishabh?” Rishabh assures him, “I know how to handle people who create trouble for my wife.”
Elsewhere, Mukul Chadda plots with his friends to humiliate Bhagyashree and Rishabh at the society meeting. Sowmya decides not to reveal the truth about Bhagyashree’s fake marriage until after the meeting. The watchman informs her that the meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. the next day. She agrees to attend.
Bhagyashree imagines Vinay suffering a heart attack upon learning that Rishabh isn’t really her husband. She panics and screams. Padma rushes in and says, “Why are you worried? You always clean and settle the room when you’re stressed.” She advises her to let Rishabh handle the situation. Bhagyashree insists she’s just tidying up.
Later, she goes downstairs to donate some items. There, Mukul mocks her. In response, she angrily drops a bowl on his foot.
Returning home, Bhagyashree bumps into Rishabh, and they share a light, romantic moment. She confides in him about her worry over the upcoming society meeting. Rishabh tells her to trust him—he’ll handle everything. Just then, Lajjo, Geetu, Babita, and Tina arrive. Rishabh proudly says that with his batchmates by his side, they have a strong team. He leaves with the LGBT group.
Downstairs, Rishabh asks the LGBT group to support him during the meeting, but they refuse. One of Chadda’s friends overhears and rushes to inform Chadda.
Bhagyashree attempts to tell the truth to her family, but before she can, Rishabh arrives and they receive a call summoning them to the society meeting. Everyone heads there. Sowmya quietly tells Karthik to keep medicine ready in case anything happens to their father. Bhagyashree reassures her, “Nothing will happen to Dad.”
Chadda’s friend informs him that the LGBT group is against Rishabh.
The society meeting begins. Mukul Chadda questions how Bhagyashree suddenly got a husband. Lajjo, Geetu, Babita, and Tina defend her, claiming Rishabh is her husband. Nitya explains that Rishabh works in a Mumbai-based company and that’s why Bhagyashree has been living alone. Babita scolds Mukul for interfering in their private matters.
Padma tells Vinay, “See how the neighbors are supporting Rishabh and Bhagyashree? Mukul seems to be in the wrong.” The LGBT group then roasts Chadda and his friends, telling him to leave the meeting.
Chadda raises another objection, asking why Rishabh’s name isn’t mentioned in the flat papers, and why Bhagyashree listed herself as single. The society chairman arrives and confirms, based on documents, that Bhagyashree is listed as single.
