The episode begins with the servant switching on the lights and asking Nysah why she lit candles when there is electricity. Nysah scolds him but then hears the doorbell. She orders the servant to turn off the lights and open the door. Rishabh enters and questions why the room is dark. Nysah asks if he didn’t like it. Rishabh replies that he prefers light, not darkness. Nysah flirts, saying she loves his taunts and has fulfilled her duties as a wife, knowing he came to thank her. But Rishabh tells her she made him realize something important—he asks her to sign the divorce papers. Nysah angrily refuses, grabs his collar, and questions what Bhagyashree has that she doesn’t, asking if he dislikes strong women like her. Rishabh says Bhagyashree is stronger than her and warns her to sign the papers or he’ll file a complaint in court. He leaves, while Nysah burns the divorce papers and vows to ruin Bhagyashree’s life.
Karthik reaches a company to find out who helped him with funds. A passerby informs him the boss just left. Karthik notes down the car number to track him.
Sonia and Nitya invite Bhagyashree, but she refuses as she has work. Nikhil offers to stay back, but Bhagyashree declines. Meanwhile, Sowmya tells Karthik not to return the investor’s money, but he refuses. Upset, Sowmya seeks Tanu’s help to make Karthik understand how to treat a wife.
Rishabh later comes to the company and finds Bhagyashree working late. She says she is waiting for Anji’s call. Rishabh insists he will handle it and she doesn’t need to stay. When Bhagyashree asks why he took the blame on himself, Rishabh replies he cannot see her image at stake. She notices he has a fever and insists on calling a doctor despite his refusal.
Tanu advises Karthik to fulfill all of Sowmya’s wishes and even troubles him by instructing him to romance his wife. She asks him to lift Sowmya in his arms, but Karthik escapes. Sowmya thanks Tanu, who leaves for shopping.
Karthik then spots the same car from which he earlier received help in his society. He is shocked to learn it belongs to the Kapoor family—Rishabh and Purab were the ones who supported him financially.
Meanwhile, Bhagyashree tends to Rishabh, placing a wet cloth on his forehead. Lost in memories of his love, she admits to herself that she still loves him. She softly confesses her feelings while Rishabh, in his sleep, holds her hand. Overwhelmed, she kisses his forehead. Just then, Nikhil sees them and questions Bhagyashree, asking if this was her “important work.” Bhagyashree sternly tells him not to speak to her in that tone, explaining Rishabh is ill and she is taking care of him. When the doctor calls, Nikhil takes her phone, but she warns him not to cross his limits.

Precap: Nikhil questions Bhagyashree if she wants to become the other woman in Rishabh’s life. She slaps him. Nikhil tells Vinay that Bhagyashree still loves Rishabh. Shocked, Vinay collapses clutching his heart, leaving the family worried.
