Baghin is a story about a village worshipping a tiger as their deity while Agni tries to hunt her.
In the first episode, the story begins with a man named Agni who’s apparently a son of an elite family who has a passion for hunting. He wants to hunt a tiger of this area named Baghin who is worshipped by the villagers.
Agni’s men set a trap for Baghin. A pregnant woman is seen accumulating logs in the jungle who feels like someone is watching her from behind. The woman sees that it’s her husband Bhagat who laughs seeing her panic.
He listens to her baby in her womb and talks to them with love. He says that they would have a baby girl this time and has also thought of her name as Gouri.
Bhagat’s friend Jaggu comes and informs that he has been called by Malik from Badi Haveli.Agni asks Bhagat if they worship Baghin Adhira like a deity. He says that yes they do since she protects everyone.
Agni asks if he would work for them. Agni tells his brother that if they get hold of the soil from Baghin’s nails, it would be a blessing for Sudeshna bhabi while his real motive is to hunt the tiger.
Agni is brought to the location where they would get to see Baghin. He makes a cut in his servant’s palm and ties him with a tree. He uses the servant as his bait for the tiger. The tiger falls in his trap but Bhagat’s wife tries to save her.
As she becomes a hindrance in Agni’s work he tries to kill her. She hides in the water while Agni wounds the tiger further and waits for its death.
In the next episode, Baghin would be seen chasing another man with blood stains all over his body. What is Baghin’s secret?
Is she really a deity?
