In the latest episode, Deva and Gouri have a confrontation regarding the land issue. Gouri tells him that the villagers have been living in this piece of land for the past three or four decades and he can’t suddenly come and ask them to leave one morning.
Deva says that this land is his patriarchal land that his grandfather gave for charity. Listening to this, Gouri asks if one takes away anything given to charity. As Deva keeps on arguing and asks the villagers to leave the place immediately, she spills kerosene all over herself and says if anyone even moves a step from here, she would set herself on fire and warns Deva that the consequences won’t be favourable for him at all. Hence Deva is forced to leave.
Shamsher comes and hands over shagun to Bua ji for Gouri and says that they have fixed the marriage on the second day of holi. Shamsher asks Bua ji to send Gouri to their house with just one set of clothes and nothing else. He takes their leave saying that they would take care of the marriage rituals and arrangements.
While checking on the things that they sent for shagun, Bua feels even more greedy. Gouri tells Buaji that even though the funeral of her father hasn’t been completed, how could she agree to the marriage so fast. She says that they are going to be a part of the Chaudhury family so these things shouldn’t be taken into account.
Later, Veer is seen visiting Gouri’s place with a handful of shopping bags with things for Gouri. As Tani intervenes in their conversation, Deva comes in and they have a cold war. What would happen next?
Would Gouri accept the marriage proposal finally?
