The episode starts with Kadvi Baa picking up earthen pot and tells to proceed with final rites of Sarita. On the way Ratan is standing with Dhingli and shows her mother for the last time. Premji is playing with Anandi when Kadvi Baa and Leela comes there with Dhingli. Ratan asks Khimji what happened as they had gone to give Dhingli to her father, Ashok. Kadvi Baa explains how they saw Ashok getting remarried when they reached there. When Khimji asked him to accept his daughter he looked intently at the child but his mother didn’t allow him to take her. She taunts them for not giving proper dowry and doesn’t accept to keep Dhingli.
Baa tells how will she take care of Dhingli alone at this age. Ratan tells she will take care of Dhingli and Anandi will get a friend. Even Sejal and Leela agree to do same. Premji and Khimji offers Baa to do some job in Gram Panchayat and save money for her but Baa rejects to take any kind of favors. Suddenly Anandi starts crying and Ratan shows her bangles to make her quiet. Kadvi Baa thinks about something. Next day Khimji tries to teach Anandi to call him Bapu but Ratan says she will say Maa first. Baa comes with bangles and some other little cosmetics. Ratan and Khimji gets shocked to see her. She tells she will earn with her small business and will start income from their home. Ratan buys something. Ratan offers to keep Dhingli with her but Baa says she can carry her along.
Premji and Khimji’s families do worship of Goddess Saraswati and Lord Ganesha. Khimji says this is the best time for marriages. Premji says he soon wants to take Anandi to his home. Sejal tells him now there is lot of time left and Anandi should grow up first. Baa hears the conversation and feels concerned. Later, Khimji and Ratan gets shocked hearing loud noise outside their house. They come out and see Premji on horse with Jigar. He says he has brought Baraat to take his daughter in law. Ratan and Khimji are speechless with the sudden happening. Baa was passing by and comes there to intervene. She tells its wrong and they shouldn’t proceed with the marriage now.
Baa tries to explain them how child marriage can destroy their lives but Premji says it was already decided long back that they will turn their friendship to relationship. Khimji recalls all the struggles Premji had gone through for him so he cannot deny Premji’s proposal. Baa tries to explain Khimji about Anandi being way too small for this but he says Premji has promised to take her to his home after she grows up. Baa says she won’t be a part of this sin and leaves from there. They do all the rituals and the episode ends with someone coming to inform them about police coming there to stop the child marriage.
