Episode starts with Shiva telling Siddhi her father called him so he brought books for her. Shiva tells Siddhi that tomorrow is Gudi Parwa so they will go to Puna University after that. Siddhi gets surprised. She asks Shiva he doesn’t have problem with her continuation of studies. Shiva says to Siddhi that its her life and the decision will be hers only. He won’t say anything. Siddhi says Shiva is really weird.
Yashwant gives prasad to his sons. Yashwant explains Gudi Parwa is Marathi’s new year. Bunty was about to go but Shoni calls him. Vilas doesn’t feel like eating as the prasad’s taste is bitter. Yashwant says its ritual, and eating Neem leaves in Summer is good for brain. He feeds it to Vijaya and Mangal as well. Mangal gets irked. Shiva comes and Yashwant tells Siddhi to feed the prasad to Shiva as its their first Gudi Parwa. Siddhi thinks its right time to teach him lesson. Siddhi feeds it to Shiva. Shiva confidently says the taste is good. Mangal asks why Shiva is saying like that. Shiva says bitterness in his life is much more intense than bitterness in the prasad. Yashwant says Shiva started cracking jokes nowadays after marrying Siddhi. Mangal says she will make Shiva’s favorite dish so that he gets better taste. Yashwant tells Siddhi will tie the Gudi. Hearing that Mangal gets annoyed and says she is tying Gudi from the day she has entered the house. Now why Yashwant allowed Siddhi to do it.
Siddhi helps Vijaya in the kitchen. Mangal starts stirring the Basundi. She keeps thinking about Yashwant’s decision and her hand gets burned. Siddhi pours water on her hand instantly but Mangal tells her to stay away. Vijaya tells Siddhi to check the preparations outiside.
Mangal says to Yashwant that her hand got burned. Vijaya takes Mangal to kitchen and Yashwant tells Siddhi to tie the Gudi. Shoni tells Siddhi to get ready properly. Shiva comes and ties the Gudi with the help of Siddhi.
Yashwant explains the inner meaning of Gudi. He says when different things come together it becomes perfect. He gives the responsibility to Siddhi saying she will make sure that everyone stays together. Yashwant says to Shiva that he will protect it as both Siddhi and Shiva tied the Gudi. Yashwant teases Mangal saying the Basundi tastes like Kheer. Later he gives compliment saying Mangal looks like Madhuri Dixit. Mangal says she wants to attend a wedding and show off her jewels. Yashwant leaves money on lunch table before leaving. Siddhi requests him not to do this today. As its special occasion. Yashwant takes the money back and says he will think that Siddhi gave him special treat. Shiva gets emotional and Siddhi gets happy.
Mangal says how is she looking after getting ready. Yashwant teases Mangal saying she is looking like the bride and she is wearing very less jewels. Everyday she wears more than that. Mangal gets irritated.
Shiva tells Siddhi to wait for some time more as he needs to call someone urgently. Siddhi says she can go alone. She doesn’t need Shiva’s company. Shiva says fine.
Shiva talks to somebody over phone and Yashwant asks him why is he still here and didn’t go with Siddhi. Shiva says Siddhi wants to go alone. Yashwant says to Shiva you are saying as if you obey whatever Siddhi says. Yashwant pulls Shiva’s ear saying he will go with Siddhi today. Shiva feels embarrassed and says his father is not doing good.
Shiva goes to Siddhi and tells her to sit in his jeep. Shiva says he has not enough time to convince her. Siddhi says she doesn’t want to go with him.
