The episode starts with Kajal helping her jail inmates prepare diyas and other items for their Karwa Chauth pooja. At home, Sudha calls Saurav, saying the moon has come out. They all go upstairs. Sudha performs the pooja and takes Saurav’s blessings. He breaks her fast. Kajal sees the sieve and recalls her Karwa Chauth with Aviraj.
A constable informs Kajal that Aviraj has arrived again with special permission. Kajal thinks, What’s happening, Durga Maa? After 10 years, he’s coming to meet me on Karwa Chauth day. Sudha asks Saurav to give her a gift. She expects a gold chain, but Saurav gifts her a gajra. Disappointed, Sudha throws it away angrily after he leaves. Bindii sees this.
Kajal confronts Aviraj, asking why he came to meet her twice in a day when he hasn’t visited her in 10 years. Aviraj says that Kanchan, who came to meet Dayanand with some information, met with an accident and slipped into a coma. He warns Kajal not to think her secret is safe, as Kanchan will recover soon. Kajal says she doesn’t know why Kanchan came to meet them. Aviraj threatens her in Dayanand’s name. Kajal says she’s not scared of him. Seeing the dark mehendi on her hand, Aviraj taunts that it means she’ll have a loving husband — that’s why she got him. Kajal recalls applying mehendi to other women when it accidentally got on her hand. She burns her mehendi-covered hand by placing it over the diya.
Shubham praises Saurav, saying, “My dad is my hero.” Bindii says she has never met her father. Saurav tells her that they met after 10 years and she will meet her father when the time is right. He reminds her that she wants to become a lawyer to rescue her mother. Bindii nods and asks if her mother will remain in jail until she grows up. Saurav says no and assures her that he’ll hire a good lawyer.
Sudha arrives and complains that Saurav has money for his sister and her daughter but not to buy her a gold necklace. She refuses to eat or talk to him until he buys her one. Saurav tries to pacify her, but she doesn’t listen. Meanwhile, Aviraj stops Kajal from burning her hand. Kajal says, “You made me burn all my life, and now you’re trying to save me from this small diya.” She tells him he can never understand true love. Aviraj says, “I truly love only Dayanand Bhai and my bond with him.” Kajal warns him not to talk about their relationship. Aviraj replies, “You deceived your brother for my love.” Kajal looks on as he pours water on her burnt hand. He says, “I could never betray Dayanand Bhai — that’s why I went against you.” He tells her to reveal the secret she’s hiding and leaves. Kajal decides to control her emotions.
Bindii tries to reconcile Sudha and Saurav. She writes “Sorry” with mehendi on Sudha’s hand while she’s asleep.
The next morning, Sudha wakes up and sees “Sorry” on her hand. She says, “This time, I won’t talk to Saurav until he buys me a necklace.” Bindii overhears and prays to God to show her a way to help Saurav buy a necklace for Sudha.
At school, the principal tells Saurav that it’s tough for you to pay 3 kids fee so there is a way. He says if Bindii tops the 6th class scholarship test, she will get a 100% fee waiver; otherwise, no admission. Saurav realizes the principal doesn’t want to admit Binddii that’s why he wants Binddii to give admission test to 6th class instead of 5th so he says he’ll pay full fees and get her admitted to 5th class instead. Bindii stops him, saying she’ll take the 6th class scholarship test so he can use the fee money to buy a necklace for Maami. Meanwhile, Aviraj also brings Maahi to the same school for admission.
