The episode starts with Aviraj providing testimony and proof against Dayanand in court. The judge says that after taking the evidence into consideration, Kajal is innocent in Pallavi’s case. He orders the police to find the real culprit and release Kajal. The judge also cancels Dayanand’s passport until the case is solved, orders that he remain in police custody, and instructs him not to leave the city. The judge then adjourns the court.
Kajal happily hugs her brother and Bindi. The police take Dayanand away. A tearful Mahi asks his father not to go, but Dayanand gestures to him and leaves with the police.
At home, Saurav distributes sweets to Kajal and Bindi in happiness. He then feeds Shubham, Ladli, and Sudha. Aviraj tells Bunty that he wants to tell Kajal that he has changed and wants to take responsibility for his daughter.
Shubham asks Bindi why she looks sad. Bindi says she is happy for her mother, but her lambu dost is not there to be part of the celebrations. Shubham replies that her father is present. Bindi says she knows he was bad earlier, but after finding out that she is his daughter, he changed. Shubham reassures her that God will reunite her family as well.
Aviraj tells Babloo that he just wants to meet Kajal and Bindi one last time and seek their forgiveness. Kajal overhears the conversation and wonders if Aviraj has truly changed for Bindi. She then goes to meet Aviraj.
Aviraj asks Kajal what she is doing there. Kajal tells him that she still doesn’t trust him, but she saw him fighting for Bindi and liked it. Aviraj replies that whatever he did was for his daughter and that he didn’t do it as charity. Kajal says that is exactly why she wants to fulfill her responsibility. Meanwhile, Saurav brings Bindi with a blindfold over her eyes. He removes the blindfold and asks Bindi to see the surprise Kajal has prepared for her. Bindi sees Aviraj and greets him. Aviraj asks her to call him Papa. Bindi agrees and thanks Kajal, saying this is the best surprise ever. She hugs Kajal and Aviraj together.
Sudha serves tea to everyone in ceramic cups but gives Aviraj tea in a steel cup. Saurav confronts Sudha about it. Sudha insults Aviraj, asking what a goon like him is doing in the house, and questions Saurav about the impact he could have on the children. Kajal asks Sudha to calm down and says they are looking for another house and will leave once they find one. Saurav refuses and says no one will leave, as the house belongs to Kajal. Sudha continues to argue. Aviraj suddenly shouts “Stop,” causing Sudha to drop her cup.
Aviraj tells Sudha that he has plenty of money and declares that no one will leave the house. He sarcastically adds that he will give all his money to the family. An upset Sudha walks away.
The next morning, Saurav and Sudha hear loud shouts and assume Dayanand’s goons have arrived. When they come out, they see Aviraj teaching the children self-defence. Sudha asks Shubham and Ladli to stop, but Saurav supports the training and says it is a good thing. Aviraj also plays with Bindi. Saurav tells Kajal that he is seeing Bindi this happy after a long time and hopes they will all remain happy forever.
Later, Aviraj is tying his shoelaces when Bindi approaches him. He asks what she is doing, and Bindi replies that she was searching for him, Papa. Aviraj becomes emotional on hearing the word and asks her to repeat it. Bindi calls him Papa again.
