The episode starts with Mandira on a call, telling Dayanand that Aviraj has met Kajal thrice recently and she feels he knows Kajal’s secret. Dayanand grows suspicious and considers asking Aviraj about it. Aviraj arrives and tells Dayanand, “I’m planning to make Kajal fall in love with me again to learn her secret.” Dayanand questions the need for this, saying, “Just threaten her and learn the truth.” Aviraj responds, “Jail rules are tough, and people there are dishonest. Don’t you trust me?” Dayanand says, “It’s not about trust; I want that chip soon, the one with evidence against me.” He asks Aviraj if he is hiding anything. Aviraj thinks about how Kajal’s brother Saurav is searching for him, which he hid from Dayanand, and then tells Dayanand he is not hiding anything. Dayanand leaves.
Saurav scolds Sudha for telling Bindii about her father. He says, “I told you already, Kajal doesn’t want Aviraj to know about Bindii.” Sudha says she did it by mistake. Saurav warns her, “Don’t repeat it. It’s risky for Bindii’s life; otherwise, you will face my wrath.”
Aviraj and his men enter Saurav’s house. Aviraj overhears Sudha on the phone saying that Saurav has been going to Delhi often. Aviraj thinks if Saurav is going to meet Kajal, he needs to find out. They leave.
The next day, Bindi and Saurav meet Kajal. Kajal is happy to learn that Bindii won first prize in a competition. Bindi tells Kajal that they have brought someone to help release her from jail. Kajal asks who, and Saurav calls advocate Damini Thakur. Damini arrives. Kajal thanks Saurav, who says she should thank Bindii instead. Kajal thanks her daughter. Bindi tells Kajal that Damini promised to get her out of jail. Damini assures her it will happen and asks Kajal for the details she needs. “If I win your case, my success rate will be 100%,” Damini says. Kajal agrees and asks Bindi to go to the jailor.
Bindi happily meets the jailor and tells her, “Because of your pen, I got good marks and free admission.” The jailor smiles and notices Bindi’s bag. Bindi starts showing the contents, and the jailor sees money and questions her. Bindi explains, “I got this prize money in the competition and will give it to Maama,” and leaves.
Kajal tells Damini that she was framed in Pallavi’s murder case and blames her husband for her arrest. Bindi overhears and realizes that because of her father, her mother is in jail. Damini asks Kajal to talk to her husband to change his testimony, saying sometimes they do so for the sake of children. Kajal replies, “I will die, but I will not take help from Bindii’s father. I don’t want that person’s shadow over me or my daughter—he is the worst.” Bindi hears this. Kajal continues, “I loved him so much, but he deceived me; he is a rakshas.” Bindi, in tears, collapses, thinking, “My dad is not a hero; he is a bad person.”
Bindi reflects that all husbands love their wives, so why did her father send her mother to jail? She questions herself, wondering if her father is truly that bad.
Aviraj arrives at the jail with Dayanand’s henchmen, disguised as NGO workers. Babloo, one of Dayanand’s henchmen, asks Aviraj to let him rest for the day. Aviraj comments on him and tells him to get to work.
A constable asks Bindi what she is doing there and whether she told Saurav about the money. Bindi says no. The constable asks her to come along and give the money to Saurav. Bindi agrees.
Aviraj enters the jail as an NGO worker and tells the constable they brought Diwali items for the prisoners. He explains, “Our NGO thought the prisoners could make firecrackers, which we will sell so they can earn some money.” The constable agrees. Aviraj trips Babloo, causing him to drop the boxes he is carrying. The constable comes to help, and Aviraj says, “Our people dropped it; they will pick it up.” The constable agrees and goes to call the prisoners. Taking advantage of the moment, Aviraj checks the visitors’ register to see who is coming to meet Kajal.
