The episode starts with Aviraj telling Dayanand that Mandira is the reason he didn’t reach the court on time. Dayanand asks how he knows about Mandira. Aviraj says Mandira told him that Dayanand gave her money to keep an eye on Kajal, but he knows she is lying because Dayanand wouldn’t do anything without his knowledge. He adds that Mandira tried to create a misunderstanding between them, and he went to jail to clear it. Dayanand says he did the right thing but asks what the need was to go today. Aviraj explains that he didn’t want Mandira to reveal Dayanand’s name to the police, so he went to handle the situation. He admits his mistake for not visiting him earlier but promises it won’t happen again. Dayanand asks his worker to cancel the tea and bring fresh milk. He tells Aviraj that he will take care of him just like he took care of his mother.
Damini says she wishes everyone gets a daughter like Bindi. After she leaves, Shubham introduces Ladli to Kajal. Kajal happily hugs them. Saurav asks Kajal to have sweets. Kajal asks about her sister-in-law. Ladli says their dad locked their mom in a room. Kajal asks why and immediately unlocks Sudha’s room. Sudha rebukes Kajal, saying her brother locked her up because of her. Kajal falls at her feet and pleads for forgiveness.
Dayanand tells Aviraj that his mother is like his own, and he’s glad to have taken care of her for 15 years. Sudha sees Saurav nearby and starts acting sweet toward Kajal. Kajal promises Sudha that there will be no problems from her side anymore and asks her to come out. Sudha refuses. Kajal and Bindi plead with her until she agrees. Sudha thinks to act sweet to get what she wants.
Dayanand assures Aviraj that his mother will continue receiving the same care she has for the past 15 years. Aviraj thanks him and says he’s helping a lot. Dayanand says Aviraj is like his brother and he doesn’t want any misunderstandings between them. He adds that they need to solve Kajal’s problem first and instructs Aviraj to kidnap her. Aviraj looks shocked.
Saurav looks for a matchbox. Sudha offers him one, but he ignores it. Kajal asks why he’s angry with his wife and not speaking to her. Saurav tells Sudha to explain what she did. He then says Sudha revealed Bindi’s truth to Aviraj — a secret they had kept hidden for years. Shocked, Kajal drops the plate of diyas.
Dayanand notices Aviraj lost in thought and asks why. Aviraj questions the need to kidnap Kajal and suggests finding another way. Dayanand asks why he’s rejecting his plan and pretends to be upset.
Mahi meets Bindi, and they wish each other a happy Diwali. Mahi says she will bring Raj Chachu and Bindi’s mother there so they can search for her father together. Meanwhile, Ladli panics when the firecrackers attached to her start bursting. Bindi saves her, but Ladli insults her. Sudha tells Kajal that Aviraj didn’t believe her words and that she made only a small mistake, whereas Kajal made a big one, yet her brother forgave her. Kajal apologizes and says she made a mistake by trusting Aviraj, asking Sudha what she wants her to do.
Aviraj tells Dayanand that Kajal has no proof, and if they do anything rash, suspicion will fall on them and they might get caught. Dayanand asks if he’s worried about Kajal. Aviraj says he only cares for Dayanand, reminding him that he sent Kajal to jail for Pallavi’s murder to protect him. He asks if Dayanand doesn’t trust him. Dayanand says he does, but Aviraj thinks otherwise. Dayanand, meanwhile, plans Kajal’s kidnapping.
