The episode starts with Vivaan questions Rahul about being the quantity of food which is in the dining table and asks is anyone is going to gain weight. Rahul says no and laughs. Vivaan asks Rahul about Anjali and Rahul asks him why he is asking about Anjali. He then realises Vivaan’s intentions so warns him but stops himself when Ritesh arrives there. Vivaan leaves the place. Ritesh tells he is hungry and decides to have food. Zoon calls him and tells him that Indu is keeping fast for him and she hadn’t had a single drop of water also then cuts the call.
Ritesh gets upset and decides not to have food. He tells Rahul that Indu made Zoon call him to let him know about her keeping fast to make him guilty of having food then leaves the place. Rahul smiles and says this is Ritesh’s first Karva Chauth. Indu opens the door and gets shocked finding Ritesh outside. She tells him Zoon is not here thinking he is here to meet Zoon but Ritesh tells her he is here to meet her. Indu asks him the reason. Ritesh gives her a Vada Pav and asks her to have it saying she dont have to do all this because they are marrying for Zoon’s custody only. Indu tells him she is doing this for Zoon because Zoon requested her.
Ritesh insists to have the Vada Pav so that he can have food guilt free. Indu fails to understand Ritesh’s words also refuses to break her fast which annoys Ritesh. Ritesh scolds her and invites her to the Karva Chauth puja which will take place in his house at evening then leaves the place.
The reporter’s gathers infront of Malhotra’s mansion to cover the Karva Chauth party which takes place every year. One of the reporter says this year is special for the Malhotra’s because Ritesh is getting married and they have to wait and see whether his fiancee will attend this party or not. Guests arrives one by one and poses for media. Indu arrives there in an auto. The reporter’s rushes to her and bombards her with questions. Indu gets uncomfortable but walk past them with the help of guards. Inside the house Tina tells Kaamna that she is keeping this fast to get expensive gifts. Other friend of Kaamna asks Kaamna about Pankaj.
Kaamna tells this year also he is in U.S.A so she will use his photo to break her fast. Tina taunts saying this house is going to become like a middle class as they chose Indu as their daughter in law. She also tells that they saw Indu reaching the house in an auto and asks Kaamna why didn’t she send car for Indu nor asked her to reach here in cab. Dolly defends Indu and praises her simplicity saying Indu don’t need unnecessary attention and all which makes Tina shut her mouth. Kaanna fumes in anger. Dolly goes inside. Indu enters the house. Kaamna’s friends make some crude remarks about Indu’s dress and jewellery also compares her status with their maid. Indu gets uncomfortable.
Dolly greets Indu and praises her. She then sees the mehendi in Indu’s hand which is dark so tells that Ritesh may marrying her for Zoon but he will not only love Zoon but her also which shocks Indu. Indu changes the topic by thanking Dolly for inviting to the party. She also says she isn’t aware about these parties. Kaamna comes there and insults Indu saying they should learn more about their high profile standards. She also accuses Indu for using Zoon to enter Ritesh’s life to have luxurious life which shocks Indu. Dolly takes Indu to Shakuntala after telling Indu to not to pay attention to Kaamna’s words as she is like a break failure car. Indu takes Shakuntala’s blessings. Shakuntala signs at Dolly and the latter takes Indu to where the guests kept their aarti thaali then advises not to pay attention to anyone’s words and leaves the place. Indu thinks she can clearly see the difference between her and Ritesh’s standard by seeing the aarti thaali. She then wonders whether she is making a mistake by agreeing to marry Ritesh and worries how she is going to manage this life. She then reminds herself this is for Zoon and decides to go with her marriage decision. Ritesh shows his anger on the things in his room for unable to have food. Rahul calms him down.
Ritesh tells Rahul the reason behind him asking him to buy a gift for Indu is its one of this house tradition so he dont want to upset his mother by not doing it. Kaamna overhears the conversation and thinks to use it in her favor. Kaamna then tells her friends that Ritesh forget to buy gift for Indu and insults her standard also tells the necklace which Pankaj sent her as a Karva Chauth gift in which has earrings which Ritesh is going to give it to Indu. Indu who hears this gets hurt and angry. A lady comes there and takes all of them to perform the puja. Indu performs the puja. Ritesh gives water to Indu. Indu takes it in her hand. Dolly notices it and tells her Ritesh has to feed her. Ritesh obliges and makes her drink water. He then gives her sweet and Indu takes a bite in it. Ritesh and Indu stares at one another.
Precap: Indu angrily says to Ritesh to not to force her with his expensive gifts. Ritesh gets angry and scolds her. They both says the other person won’t change ever. Later Sameer shows Kadambari Indu and her ex Magesh and tells her that Magesh wants to avenge Indu for separating him from his wife. Kadambari asks Sameer to call Magesh. Magesh enters the place.
