The episode starts with Sagar’s leave getting cancelled, so he has to return to his army duty, but Mannu is unaware of this. She remains excited about visiting the Vaishno Devi temple and beams with joy as the villagers arrange their tickets for Katra. Anandi advises Sagar not to worry and asks him to inform Mannu about his sudden duty call. Sagar joins Mannu’s celebration. Later, he tries to tell her about the leave cancellation but gets distracted by a villager and then starts doing push-ups with Mannu sitting on his back. Everyone cheers for them. Anandi notices an army jeep and walks towards it. Suneel introduces himself and says Param Sir has sent him for Sagar. Anandi looks at Sagar and Mannu.
Bairagi, in jail, recalls how Acharya was exposed in front of Sagar and how Sagar and others beat him up. Bairagi vows to take revenge on those who humiliated him.
A villager gifts Mannu some dolls. Mannu likes them and leaves from there.
The villager tells Sagar that their tickets to Katra have been sent to the Panchayat. Sagar asks why. The villager explains that they wanted to make the trip special, especially for Mannu, a devoted follower of Mata Rani. He apologises to Sagar for not trusting him earlier and believing Bairagi’s lies. He then leaves.
Anandi tells Sagar that Suneel has come to pick him up and that Param Sir has sent him. She asks Sagar if he informed Mannu. Sagar says he couldn’t and regrets it. He decides to tell her the truth.
Sagar sees Mannu sleeping on a chair. He gently carries her to the bed and leaves. Sagar gets into the army jeep and departs without telling Mannu, feeling guilty.
The next morning, Mannu wakes up. Anandi calls her. Mannu asks Anandi why she is wearing a Punjabi outfit and whether she is taking her to prepare for the Vaishno Devi trip. Anandi says no and tells her they are going to celebrate Mannu’s birthday week. She says that for now, they will go on a picnic. Mannu agrees and calls for Sagar. Anandi stays silent. Mannu assumes Sagar has already gone ahead and says they should also leave. Anandi agrees.
Anandi and Mannu ride on a bicycle. A strange lady watches Mannu from afar. Anandi brings Mannu to a boot camp. Seeing Ashish Khurana, the boot camp instructor, from behind, Mannu mistakes him for her father and calls him “Dad.” When she realises he is not Sagar, she becomes upset and thinks he might be somewhere nearby.
Ashish gathers all the children and tells them they will learn what military family members undergo during training. He instructs them to run the race course. Mannu thinks Anandi has brought her here to prepare for the Vaishno Devi trip. Anandi agrees. Mannu participates in the course and helps a boy who falls down, but Ashish tells her not to stop and to keep moving forward.
Later, Ashish asks the children if anyone can explain why he told them to move forward no matter what. No one responds. Anandi replies that a soldier must always move forward when duty calls and should not step back due to family or promises. Ashish agrees and explains how soldiers protect the nation by risking their lives at the border.
Mannu later asks Anandi who taught her that. Anandi replies that she is a soldier’s wife.
Mannu looks around for her father but does not find him. When Sagar video calls Anandi, she gives the phone to Mannu. Mannu asks where he is, and Sagar replies that he has gone to the border.
It is shown that Sagar had called Ashish and requested him to arrange the boot camp so that Mannu could understand the duty and sacrifice of a soldier.
Mannu becomes upset hearing that he is at the border and refuses to speak to him, saying he broke his promise. Anandi reminds her about the lesson she learned. Mannu still insists she will not talk to those who break promises. Anandi hands her the phone, but the call disconnects due to poor network. Mannu comments on it, and Sagar feels sad as he couldn’t explain things to her.

Precap: Bairagi breaks ties with Acharya. Acharya tells Bairagi that he cannot break their relationship as he is his father. Bairagi argues and asks Acharya what proof he has to claim that he is his son. Acharya shows a letter written by Bairagi’s mother. Bairagi refuses to believe it and says he knows he is not an illegitimate child. Mannu overhears the conversation, and Bairagi notices her.
