The episode opens with a tense situation as the villagers gather around Sagar and his family, refusing to let Mannu enter the temple. Their narrow-mindedness shocks Sagar, but before he can argue further, he receives troubling news — his mother’s health has deteriorated suddenly. Without wasting a moment, Sagar and Anandi rush back home. Upon reaching, they find Sagar’s mother gravely ill, weakened not only by sickness but also by the constant social humiliation her family faces. Jalkari, frustrated and angry, blames Sagar for being too defiant and for bringing unnecessary trouble upon the family.
Sagar’s mother’s condition worsens when the local doctor, bowing to social prejudice, refuses to treat her. Sagar is left heartbroken but vows to find a solution. Meanwhile, Mannu, determined to save her grandmother, visits the doctor herself. With folded hands, she pleads with him to examine her grandmother just once. Bound by fear of the villagers, the doctor refuses, but Mannu’s innocence touches his heart. She then requests him to at least offer her flowers to the temple he worships in, a gesture that deeply moves him. Finally, unable to resist her sincerity, the doctor agrees to visit the Lodhi house.
However, word spreads quickly. Bairagi’s men learn about the doctor’s decision and decide to punish him for going against their orders. Bairagi, too, becomes enraged upon hearing that Mannu’s family is receiving support from others in the village. At the same time, Ramdoot, in an act of desperation, brings a veterinary doctor to check on Sagar’s mother. But the vet refuses, stating he cannot treat a human. The family’s hopes start to fade once again.
Bairagi’s anger reaches its peak when he learns that some villagers are sympathizing with Sagar’s family. He orders his men to intensify their cruelty and make an example of them. Meanwhile, Sagar’s mother, despite her illness, tries to console Anandi, who breaks down over being unable to visit her own mother. She lovingly feeds Anandi herself, attempting to comfort her, but Anandi remains heartbroken because Mannu has not eaten all day. To lift her spirits, the Lodhi family stages a small, playful drama to remind her of Mata Rani’s blessings. Their efforts finally melt Mannu’s heart, and she begins to believe that Mata Rani will guide her to the temple in her own divine way.
Just then, Sagar receives news that the doctor who dared to help them is facing violent backlash from the villagers. When the family reaches his house, they find it vandalized and destroyed. The sight fills Sagar with rage and helplessness. Mannu later finds the same flower she had given to the doctor lying outside his ruined home — a painful symbol of broken humanity. Seeing this, Sagar swears to confront Bairagi and put an end to his cruelty once and for all.
