Chashni 18th April 2023 Written Update: Raunaq returns to Babbar House

The episode starts with Roshni stopping Sumer from accepting the first copy of his biography. Sanjot asks why is she saying so. Roshni tells Sumer that since its his life story he should give first copy to someone who is most important in his life. Sumer agrees and says that means he should give it to Sanjot. Roshni again stops him and tells he should give it one who is a part of him and has come to attend this birthday party today. Everyone look around to see who it is. Babbars are take aback to see Raunaq there with his luggage. Roshni smiles happily.

Raunaq stands infront of Sumer emotionlessly. Sumer says everyone his son has returned back. Raj gets shocked to see Raunaq there. Raunaq wishes Sumer for his birthday and says sorry for not bringing any gift. Sumer tells he has come that’s itself a gift for him and hugs him happily. Sumer questions Roshni how she knew about Raunaq coming home and if they know each other. He asks Raunaq if Roshni convinced him to come home. Raunaq agrees and says he had met Roshni in Amristar and they are friend. He tells Roshni made him understand that they should not live in past and move ahead in life.

Sumer thanks Roshni for giving him best gift ever for his birthday. Roshni smiles proudly while Sanjot feels annoyed. Sumer introduces Raunaq to the media and dedicates the evening to both Roshni and Raunaq. Media reporters asks for a family picture and Sumer gets clicked with Roshni and Raunaq. He also gives his biography’s first copy to Raunaq instead of Sanjot. Raj comes to meet Chandni. He informs her that Raunaq is the only son of Sumer Babbar. Chandni is left shocked and tells Raj about how Raunaq blames Chandni for his sister’s death when she does not even remember what happened the night Raunaq had mentioned.

Raj tells Chandni that’s its Roshni who has brought back Raunaq to Babbar house. Sumer cuts cake and feeds Raunaq first and then Sanjot thinks he is about to feed her but instead Sumer gives cake to Roshni leaving Sanjot. Roshni gives a triumphant smile to Sanjot and leaves. Chandni shows the warning letter she received to rescue Roshni from Babbar house and requests him to help her find who sent it to her and doesn’t want Roshni to stay there.

Nisha meets Raunaq and tells him not to leave again as she gets bored without him. Roshni talks to Raunaq and thanks him for coming. Raunaq says he had to come because he feels somewhere guilty for what happened to Roshni but she should not expect the relationship between him and Sumer to improve. Sumer comes there and addresses them as mother and son. Raunaq gets angry and tells Roshni isn’t his Amma. Sumer feels sad and blames himself however Roshni consoles him and tells him to wait for right time for Raunaq to come back. The episode ends with Chandni telling Raj that she has an idea.

Precap Chandni will ask Sumer to give Raunaq’s hand in marriage to her in return of the disrespect he has done to her by breaking her heart. Sumer will agree.
