The episode starts with Vedika expressing her disappointment towards Saraswati with Padma. Padma requests her to calm down. She then reminds Vedika about Saraswati’s suffering for the last 20 years. Also, it’s the Maheswari’s who is taking care of Saraswati. She further advises Vedika to think about Saraswati’s perspective. Vedika says to Padma that the latter’s words are true. She also gets upset with herself. Both Kishorilal and Padma justify the actions of Sagar, but Vedika decides not to forgive Sagar, who goes against the promise he has made to her. Meanwhile, Sagar vents out his frustration in a boxing bag. He wonders why he isn’t believing everything that has happened around him related to Vedika. He feels betrayed by Vedika.
Here, Padma asks Vedika what the latter is going to do next. Meanwhile, Sagar gets disappointed at himself for trusting Vedika. On the other hand, Vedika lights up a diya in her house temple, and she vows to prove to Saraswati that she is her real daughter Jahnvi. She also gets determined to save Saraswati from the Maheswari’s trap. The Sharma’s questions her about her decision about Sagar and her relationship. Vedika tells the Sharma’s that she won’t have any relationship with Sagar as she feels she is the only one who loved him.
In Maheswari’s house, Sagar tells himself that he made a huge mistake by falling for Vedika, who didn’t realise that her foster parents are using her. Instead of supporting him, Vedika chose to take her foster parents’ side. He decides not to ever let anyone have access to his heart again, saying his heart has been closed forever. Meanwhile, Koel decides to leave the Maheswari’s house stealing expensive things from there. Mayuri refuses to agree with Koel’s decision. She cautions Koel about Vedika and the Maheswari’s. Koel shares her fears with Mayuri about the Maheswari’s who has killed Dayal. She tells Mayuri that the Maheswari’s are dangerous. Mayuri tells her that they will land in danger too if they leave the house. She further asks Koel to follow her instructions.
Here, Vedika reaches the Maheswari’s house. Meanwhile, Saraswati is seen looking at her family photo. Koel comes to meet Saraswati. Saraswati asks Koel to come inside. Koel hesitates, but Mayuri encourages her to enter from her hiding spot. Koel enters Saraswati’s room. She addresses Saraswati as aunty, so Saraswati questions her. She then shares her emotions with Koel about finding her. She also hopes soon that she will find her another daughter Yamini, too. Koel gets emotional. Saraswati hugs her. Mayuri hears their conversation from outside. She tells herself that she should never let Koel learn the truth about her real identity of being Yamini. She further gets determined to stop Vedika from entering the Maheswari’s house.
Vedika is seen entering the house. Here, Koel addresses Saraswati as maa, which makes them both emotional. Mayuri, who hears everything, assures herself that she shouldn’t feel bad because Koel is following her instructions only. There, Sagar gets shocked seeing Vedika in his room, so he demands her to leave, but Vedika refuses. Vedika questions Sagar for believing in the DNA report yet not accepting Koel as Jahnvi. Sagar accuses Vedika of bringing Koel into their life. Vedika asks him what he is going to do. Sagar looks speechless.
