The episode starts with Ganga tells Kalyani that her son accuses her and tries to slap her. Kalyani asks Abhay did he try to slap Ganga and how he dared to slap her. Abhay tells Kalyani that Ganga has sold the diamond earrings for just 2000 rupees. Ritu gets nervous. Abhay tells Kalyani that Ganga is an imposter and she is an illiterate girl. Kalyani tells Abhay that he shouldn’t try to slap her and she tells Ganga to close the cart. Ganga tells Kalyani that it’s all about her dignity and today she has proved that she can earn. Lalita learns about Ganga’s anger from Ritu. Ganga tells Kalyani that she will not close the cart and she will remain here. Ganga tells Kalyani that she will only go only when the alliance breaks. Kirti tells Kalyani that Ganga has ruined the reputation of their family. Ganga wind up her cart and come inside the room. Abhay tells Ganga to get out of his room because she has no place in this house. Ganga tells Abhay that she has equal rights in this house and on him. Abhay tells Ganga that he never considered her to be his wife.
Kalyani tells Amma ji that she made a mistake by underestimating Ganga. Amma ji tells Kalyani that she doesn’t make any mistakes because Ganga is pure gold and it should be handled with care. Kalyani tells Amma ji that it’s all about their reputation and she will vanish the cart outside the house. Ritu comes to her room and sees her mother. Ritu closes the door and she tells Lalita that she has sold the earrings. Ritu tells Lalita that Abhay brought the earrings back to the house. Lalita tells Ritu that she should make friends with Kirti. Ritu tells Kalyani that she has already started planning.
Everyone sits at the dining table. Kalyani tells Ganga that she doesn’t want to eat. Kriti, Chetan and Kalyani get up from the table. Akshay wants to eat but Ritu stops her. Hema also gets up from the dining table. Kalyani tells Amma ji that Ganga has made everyone upset. Amma ji tells Ganga that dignity is not everything sometimes and sometimes a family can break. Ganga assures Amma ji that she will not break the family and no one will sleep on an empty stomach. Amma ji tells Ganga that she will tell Bindya to take the food to everyone’s room.
The next day,Ganga starts her carte and some customers come to have the litti chokha. Suddenly the municipal corporation comes to take the cart and Ganga tells the officer that they can’t take the cart. Ganga tells her followers to help her and the neighbours gather together to see the drama. The municipal officer gets a call from the collector and he order not to break the cart of Ganga. The neighbours tells Kalyani that today she fails to prove her power. Ganga tells Kalyani that she only knows how to cook and she wants to stand on her own feet. Kalyani tells Ganga to stop thinking about becoming the Bahu and stand on her feet.
Ganga asks Mahadev to help her because she doesn’t want to give any trouble to anyone.
Ganga comes with breakfast. Ritu and Kirti plan together. The bell rings and Ganga opens the door. Ganga sees that Abhay has brought Sakshi to his home.
