The episode starts with Lalita agrees for Ganga’s marriage if the boy likes Ganga. Lalita tells Ganga to be ready because she also wants a government clerk son in law.
Abhay learns from Sakshi that his mother met her in the sweet shop and she thinks that his mother has chosen her.
Ritu tells Ganga to wear western dress and apply heavy make up on her face. Ganga hesitates but Ritu convinces Ganga. Lalita tells Ritu to bring Ganga because the boy has come to see Ganga. Lalita tells the boy that Ganga only speaks English. Ritu brings Ganga and the boy starts speaking in english. Ganga tells the boy that she doesn’t know English and she had studied till class 8. Kalyani arrives at the same time. Lalita’s husband welcomes Kalyani and takes her inside. Ritu and Lalita are shocked to see Kalyani and they are worried. Kalyani asks Ganga what she is doing. Lalita tells Kalyani that Ganga is an orphan .
Kalyani tells Lalita that it’s good that she is doing for the welfare of an orphan girl but Ganga is characterless who always asks other boys to give the number. Ganga tries to justify but Kalyani scolds her for arguing. The boy taunts Ganga that she is a characterless girl and he doesn’t want to marry an illiterate girl. The boy thanks Kalyani for saving his life. Ganga faces humiliation in front of everyone. Lalita tells Ganga to go. Ritu takes the blessings of Kalyani. Lalita tells Kalyani not to spoil her mood and take the prashad. Kalyani notices that panjari is missing in the prashad . Ritu forgets to tell Ganga to make panjari.
Ganga feels sad and she starts crying because her mother told her an orphan and Kalyani tells her a characterless girl. Ganga thinks that Kalyani can’t think that she is a characterless girl and an orphan. Lalita tells Kalyani that she has forgotten and she tells her that she brings the panjari in a moment. Kalyani tells Ritu to make the panjari but Lalita thinks that Ritu doesn’t know anything. Ritu tells Raghu to bring Ganga and asks her to come from the window. Raghu informs Ganga that Ritu is calling her but he suggests her not to go but Ganga decides to go. Ritu decides to make Panjari online.
