The episode starts with Doree begging Maan to take up her father’s case. Maan says to Doree that he handles high profile cases not some low level cases. Doree says she came prepared. Doree gives all her jewelry to Maan and asks Maan to take this jewelry and take up her father’s case. Maan comments on Doree and says to Doree that he doesn’t do charity and says this money is not enough.
Rajnandini overhears the Pandit saying to Dadi that if Uma comes into Maan’s life then happiness will come into Maan’s life. Rajnandini thinks she has to do Kavya’s marriage with Maan at any cost.
Maan asks Doree to get out of his office. Doree asks Maan what will he do if he was in his shoes. Maan thinks about Surinder. Maan says he only works for money and asks Doree to leave from here if she doesn’t have money. Doree comments on Maan and leaves from there.
Dadi prays to God and hopes that she will find Uma for Maan. Kavya comes infront of Dadi and chants the mantras really well. Dadi asks Kavya who is she. Rajnandini says to Dadi that this is Kavya her friend and her father brought her to this city to do Kavya’s marriage but she lost her Kundali when she went to a Pandit. Dadi asks Kavya who is her Pandit. Kavya says the temple’s main Pandit and says her Rashi name is Uma. Dadi hearing it asks Kavya to ask her father not to look for anymore matches. Dadi says she will do her marriage with Maan of their family. Dadi thanks God for bringing Uma infront of her. Dadi asks Kavya to light the Diya infront of God.
Maan returns to his home. Dadi introduces Kavya to Maan and says to Maan that they have chosen Kavya for him and says they have decided to do Kavya and his engagement on the day of Maha Shivaratri. Dadi later leaves from there.
Kavya flirts with Maan. Maan asks Kavya to maintain distance and says he doesn’t think this marriage will happen and leaves from there.
Ganga asks Doree if she found any found any good lawyer. Doree says she hasn’t found one but she will find one soon and asks Ganga not to worry. Ganga says to Doree he has become a problem for her. Anand comes and comments on Ganga saying he has only given suffering to Doree. Doree says to Anand he has no right to speak to her father like that. The police constable reminds Doree that she has only few days left to file a Wakalat and asks Doree to find the lawyer soon. Anand comments on Doree saying Doree will not be able to find a lawyer as she doesn’t have money for it.
Dadi, Ambica and Rajnandini try to convince Maan to agree to the marriage with Kavya. Maan says he loves someone and he will marry her. Dadi doesn’t believe Maan’s lies and says he has to get engaged to Kavya on the day of Maha Shivaratri. Maan thinks of hoe to get out of this situation and decides to make Doree his contract wife.
Maan comes to weaver’s slum looking for Doree. Maan accidentally drinks Bhaang. Maan spots Doree and asks Doree to stay there.
