The episode starts with Durga speaking to Suhani about what she wants to say. Suhani interrupts and sarcastically asks if Durga is about to give her a lecture. Durga responds, saying that if Suhani thinks she’s insulting her by calling her a maid, she’s mistaken. Durga adds that she always works, unlike some people who do nothing. Suhani retorts by saying she wants Durga to be her personal maid and asks how much she would charge for it.
Durga replies confidently, saying they will discuss this once she becomes the daughter-in-law of the Rathore family. Suhani insists it’s better to talk about it now. Durga asserts that she won’t charge Suhani anything because she’s going to be Anurag’s wife. Suhani then questions Durga, asking if she has a close relationship with Anurag. Durga explains that she was raised in the Rathore household and has a good relationship with everyone there.
Suhani warns Durga to behave properly with her; otherwise, she might be thrown out of the house. Durga firmly responds that no one can throw her out, and if Vikram tries to, he’ll have to face the consequences. Suhani, frustrated, decides to teach Durga a lesson later.
Suhani arrives at the Rathore mansion with her family. Her father, Mittal, greets Vikram. Meanwhile, Indira instructs Durga to wash the feet of Suhani’s family, explaining to them that it is part of their tradition.
While Durga is washing her feet, Suhani sneakily takes a picture of her. Mittal talks to Vikram’s family and then asks Suhani to take blessings from Aarthi. Aarthi tells Suhani to first seek blessings from Savitri. Suhani agrees and does so. Mittal then inquires about Anurag’s whereabouts. Aarthi informs him that Anurag is in his room and will come downstairs when the Shagun ritual begins.
In the meantime, Anubhav helps Anurag get ready. He tells Anurag that getting married is a good decision and suggests that it will allow Durga to move on with her life. Anurag responds, explaining that he only agreed to the marriage because Vikram gave him an ultimatum: if he didn’t agree, Durga’s studies would be stopped. Anurag admits that he is accepting this defeat solely for Durga’s sake.
Meanwhile, Suhani’s mother asks Vikram if Durga is their maid. Vikram denies this, explaining that she only helps them. He adds that they have raised Durga and supported her education, mentioning that she comes from a tribal community. Mittal praises this, saying he too has fought for women’s education in the past. He then asks Vikram about the wedding date. Vikram replies that they can proceed whenever they are ready.
Mittal notes that Anurag should have arrived by now. Panibai asks Durga to call Anurag, and Durga agrees.
