The episode starts with Meera and Durga leaving in an auto. Meera asks Durga to take care of herself. Durga says she has no choice but to leave as her life rests with Anurag. Durga asks Meera why she came with her. She tells Meera that if Rajesh finds out she went outside, he will not spare her. Meera says she will leave far away from here. Durga asks Meera not to do that and makes her swear that she will stay until Durga returns. Durga assures Meera that once she reaches Delhi, she will be able to meet Anurag. Meera asks Durga if she has enough money. Durga says she has a little money but doesn’t know how she will manage and comments on it.
Panibai scolds Aarthi and blames her for Anurag being in the hospital, accusing her of putting Durga above everyone else. Aarthi reminds Panibai that she cut ties with Durga a long time ago. She also points out that it wasn’t Durga who called Anurag for help—Anurag went to help Durga on his own and got injured. Indira complains to Aarthi that Anubhav has left his studies and is roaming around the hospital. Aarthi reminds Indira that Anubhav is Anurag’s brother, and it’s normal for him to be worried. Indira argues that Anubhav could have been injured in Anurag’s place. She says she is ashamed of what her son has done. Aarthi firmly reminds Indira that Anurag is not just her son but also the son of this house, and comments on it.
Durga and Meera get down from the auto at the railway station and continue talking to each other.
Panibai criticizes Aarthi. Savitri overhears and calls Panibai a servant of the house. Panibai responds that she did not come here as a servant. Savitri asks her, “Then with what status have you come here?” Aarthi intervenes, saying this is not the time to fight but to pray to God. Panibai retorts that she came to the house as the mother of the children because they think of her as one. She argues with Savitri, saying she was never able to keep her husband happy, which is why he came to her. Panibai makes remarks against Savitri. In turn, Savitri accuses Panibai of trapping her husband and taking control of the house bit by bit.
Meera advises Durga to take care of herself. Durga agrees and shares her concern that while she and Anurag are married, society will never accept their union. Meera reassures her, saying that the connection between their hearts is the most important thing in their marriage. Meera again asks Durga to look after herself, and Durga agrees.
