The episode starts with Rajesh’s aunt and the rest of Rajesh’s wives arriving at his house. Meera asks Rajesh’s aunt if she should prepare food, to which she agrees and asks Meera to cook. Meera complies and suggests that Durga should also eat, as she hasn’t had anything since the morning. Rajesh’s aunt notices Meera’s concern for Durga and comments on it. Chandini remarks that Meera is no longer Rajesh’s wife and comments further. Meera retorts, saying that although she may not be his wife now, she was in the past. She then asks Chandini what her relationship with Rajesh is. Chandini snaps back, stating that she doesn’t owe Meera any explanations.
Durga asks Meera what she does all day. Meera responds that she manages all the household chores by herself. Chandini interrupts, saying that Rajesh didn’t bring her here to do housework and makes a snide remark. Rajesh’s aunt tells Meera to stop arguing and get to work. Durga confronts Rajesh’s aunt, asking how she can insult Meera like that. Durga points out that, even though Meera is no longer the daughter-in-law of the house, she still serves food, showing her good character. Rajesh’s aunt takes offense and warns Durga that Rajesh wouldn’t spare her if he knew. Durga boldly declares that she isn’t afraid of Rajesh.
Aarthi approaches Anurag, acknowledging that he is upset with Durga’s actions. Anurag tells her not to mention Durga, as he doesn’t want to discuss her. Aarthi insists they need to talk about it and informs Anurag that Vikram has decided to invite Rajesh and Durga for the Pag Phere ritual. Anurag asks if Durga will really come, and Aarthi explains that Vikram’s decision is final, and only what he wants happens in the house. Aarthi adds that she is considering leaving the house in two days and asks Anurag when he plans to leave. Anurag admits he would have left already, but he’s staying for Anubhav.
Rajesh returns home and asks his family if they aren’t going to give him any food. His aunt complains to Rajesh, saying she’s concerned about his meals and had asked Meera to prepare food, but both Meera and, especially, Durga are talking back. Meera comments that Rajesh usually eats out these days. Rajesh retorts, asking who told her that. He then confronts Durga, asking why she went to Anurag. Durga replies that she was raised in the Rathore house and was merely seeking their blessings. Rajesh accuses her of lying. Chandini adds that Durga performed the entire Karwa Chauth ritual but gave the diya to Anurag, suggesting that Durga observed the fast for him, not Rajesh. Ignoring this, Chandini asks Meera to serve her food.
Meanwhile, Aarthi talks to Anurag and mentions that Savitri wants to see him married. She asks if he has any objections to them searching for potential matches. Anurag replies that he has no problem with it.
Later, while eating, Rajesh recalls Chandini’s comments about Durga. Furious, he throws Durga’s plate aside and lashes out at her, saying she has ruined his reputation. He declares that as punishment, Durga will not eat today.
