The episode starts with Rajesh’s aunt crying to herself, saying Rajesh is dead. Chandini says she will run away from there and never return. Chandini accuses Meera of killing Rajesh and leaves. Rajesh’s aunt blames both Durga and Meera for Rajesh’s death. She accuses them of killing Rajesh together and vows not to leave them.
Meera asks Durga to run away, but Durga refuses. The crowd gathers at Rajesh’s house. Meera confesses to everyone that she killed Rajesh and explains what happened. Durga tries to save Meera by claiming that she killed Rajesh in self-defense when he attacked her. However, Meera insists that Durga shouldn’t take the blame for her. Rajesh’s aunt accuses both Meera and Durga of conspiring to kill Rajesh.
Rajesh’s friends take his body away, claiming they are taking him to the hospital but secretly deciding to inform Vikram later.
The police arrive at Rajesh’s house after a while. Meera confesses to the cops that she killed Rajesh, but Durga argues that she killed him in self-defense. The crowd tells the police that Meera killed Rajesh, with Durga provoking her to do it. After hearing this, the police take Meera into custody.
Durga promises Meera that she will ensure her release. The police take Meera away.
Meanwhile, Rajesh’s friends burn his body. Vikram calls Rajesh’s friends and asks if everything is done. They confirm that they have burned Rajesh’s body. Vikram instructs them to ensure Durga doesn’t go to Delhi or make contact with his family. Rajesh’s friends agree.
The married women perform the ritual to make Durga a widow.
Later, Rajesh’s aunt tries to throw Durga out of the house with the help of other women. They all hold Durga, but she lashes out at them. She asks if they can’t see the suffering she has endured. Durga reveals how Rajesh tortured her and says she could have been dead if Rajesh hadn’t died at that moment.
Durga confronts the women, saying they should also experience what she has gone through. She reminds them how their husbands do not respect them. Durga declares that she will teach them about education and their rights. She ends by saying she has nothing more to add.
