The episode begins with Suhani telling Anurag that she came right away after learning about Durga. Anurag asks Suhani who informed her about Durga. Suhani replies that Indira told her. Indira explains to Anurag that since Suhani is going to become the daughter-in-law of this house, she spoke to her about it.
Aarthi then asks Durga where the jewelry she gave her is. Savitri intervenes, saying that if the jewelry isn’t with Durga, she must have hidden it. Durga denies hiding any jewelry and says she will go to her room. Panibai taunts Durga, calling her a thief. Vikram also makes a remark about Durga, claiming he always ends up saving her. In response, Durga tells Vikram that if she causes him so much trouble, he should have let her go to jail.
Savitri scolds Durga for talking to Vikram like that when he came to help her. Panibai sides with Durga this time and comments on Savitri’s behavior. Suhani then adds fuel to the fire, suggesting they drop the matter since, even if Durga stole the jewelry, it might have been for her studies.
Anurag questions Panibai about why she took the jewelry out of Durga’s bag. Panibai claims she removed it in front of both Durga and Aarthi. Anurag sarcastically points out that Durga’s bangles have mysteriously swapped with the royal family’s bangles. Panibai takes offense, asking if Anurag is accusing her of switching the bangles. Anurag denies accusing her but firmly states his belief that Durga is not a thief.
Aarthi warns Durga, saying she hopes Anurag’s faith in her is justified. Durga expresses her frustration, saying she doesn’t know when she’ll be able to prove her innocence. She then leaves.
The next day, Durga arrives at her classroom and finds posters plastered everywhere, saying, “I am a thief, and I stole jewelry.” Durga’s friends accuse Suhani and her group of being behind it and suggest taking action. However, Durga asks them to let it go.
Suhani’s friends confront Isha, questioning why she’s blaming Suhani when she isn’t even in the classroom. Isha insists she saw Suhani and her friends laughing together about it. Suhani then walks in, pretending to be clueless. She looks at the posters and asks her friends if they are about Durga.
Durga’s friends accuse Suhani and demand that she take the posters down, warning her that they’ll tell Anurag if she doesn’t. Suhani dismisses their threats, asking why they’re dragging Anurag into the matter. Durga’s friends retort that Anurag deserves to know the kind of woman he is marrying.
Suhani warns them not to involve Anurag, but Durga calls out Suhani’s act, saying she knows Suhani is behind the posters. Durga demands that Suhani take them down or else she will complain to Anurag herself.
Later, Durga’s friends bring Anurag to the classroom and show him the posters. Anurag reprimands Suhani, telling her to stop troubling Durga, as she is already dealing with enough crises in her life. He warns Suhani that if she continues, their relationship might end before it even begins.
