Durga 31st October 2024 Written Update on SerialGossip.in
The episode starts with Durga reminding Vikram of his promise to help her pursue her medical studies. Vikram tells Durga that it’s not his decision alone and that Rajesh also needs to agree. Rajesh responds by saying that he has thought about it a lot and that his family will never agree to let Durga pursue medical studies. He declares that he has decided to give Durga the responsibility of managing the household instead.
Durga tells Vikram that she has already lost everything, and if she loses her chance to study, she won’t be able to bear it. Anubhav questions Rajesh, reminding him that he had previously promised to let Durga study. Rajesh dismisses this, saying he will allow their children to study, but nothing beyond that. Durga firmly tells Rajesh that she will pursue her studies, no matter what. Vikram urges Durga not to go against her husband, accusing her of already damaging their reputation, before leaving.
Anurag returns home. Durga approaches him, saying she wants to talk. Anurag cuts her off, saying she should understand that he despises her. Ignoring his harsh words, Durga insists on talking. She hands him the keys, asking him to keep them safe. Anurag snaps, asking why he can’t just put them anywhere. Durga reminds him that there are personal things in the cupboard and that it would be problematic if anyone else saw them.
Anurag retorts that he once kept money in that cupboard to help her, while Durga explains that she also kept a record of her expenditures there. Anurag coldly remarks that, although he once loved her, he will never look at that book. Durga places the keys in his hands, but he throws them away, refusing to touch anything that she has touched. She picks them up, places them in his hands again, and sarcastically tells him to wash them after going to his room. Durga then asks Anurag if he plans to get married and advises him to make sure he knows the girl well. Anurag remains silent, and Durga walks away, unaware that Rajesh has overheard their conversation.
Durga steps aside and reflects, feeling that Anurag’s hatred burns her inside, but she accepts it because she loves him.
Rajesh then goes to Panibai, expressing his inability to accept Durga. Panibai asks him what happened, while Savitri interjects, telling Rajesh that if he has issues with his wife, he should resolve them privately instead of involving the family. Rajesh counters, saying that Savitri doesn’t know what he saw. Aarthi curiously asks what he saw.
Durga arrives, and Panibai questions where she was. Rajesh accuses Durga of sneaking around, asking Panibai to question her. Durga calmly responds that she was speaking to Anurag in open and comments on it.
