The episode begins with Durga asking Anurag to leave. Anurag, however, insists that he can’t abandon her in this condition. Durga reminds him that he has no rights over her. Anurag counters, reminding Durga that they were once married. Durga recalls the moment they exchanged garlands, dismissing it as a childish act. She questions how he could prove their marriage to society, but Anurag replies that not everything needs validation in the eyes of others. Durga insists that if there’s no way to make it public, it’s best to forget it altogether. She urges Anurag to leave, but he refuses, saying he will stay and take care of her.
Meanwhile, Rajesh arrives at the Kabela community and confronts Jariburi, demanding to know how she dared to treat Durga that way. Jariburi defends herself, explaining that Durga came to her for treatment. Since she couldn’t help Durga herself, she sent her to the hospital with Anurag. Unafraid, Jariburi stands her ground and even criticizes Rajesh for beating his own wife, Durga. Enraged, Rajesh decides to punish her. Jariburi appeals to the Kabela people, asking if anyone will step in. They plead with Rajesh to spare her, explaining that Durga only came for treatment. Rajesh, however, questions why no one informed him. Jariburi retorts that they had no obligation to do so, once again showing her defiance.
Rajesh then demands to know who told Durga that Anurag was present. The Kabela people clarify that Durga came purely for treatment and that Anurag had joined them to celebrate Diwali. Rajesh asks how Anurag took Durga to the hospital, and they explain that Anurag was driving with Durga in the back seat. Disbelieving their account, Rajesh accuses them of lying and decides to punish the entire community for defying him. He orders his henchmen to act. They pour gasoline over the Kabela community and set it ablaze. Rajesh taunts Jariburi for opposing him, while one Kabela member questions what will happen if Vikram finds out. Rajesh declares he will personally inform Vikram, blaming Anurag for crossing boundaries with his wife.
Rajesh discusses with his henchmen about going to Vikram to complain about Anurag. The henchmen doubt Vikram would punish his own son, but Rajesh asserts that Vikram wouldn’t oppose him since he is the one running Vikram’s business. Rajesh believes that Vikram would do anything to protect his power.
The next day, Anurag and Anubhav see Meera taking Durga from the hospital. They suspect that Rajesh forced Durga’s early discharge.
Anurag confronts Durga, asking if she’s really returning to Rajesh after all that has happened. He warns her that she’s ruining her life by going back. Meera interjects, questioning what other options Durga has, as she has no one else. Anurag insists that he will take care of Durga.
