The episode begins with Sai encouraging Savi to win the race. As Savi starts overtaking Nishi’s mother, the latter deliberately trips her by placing her foot in the way. Savi falls. Sai gets worried, but Savi assures her that she’s fine. She ties a cloth around her injured foot and continues running. Sai keeps cheering for her. Despite the pain, Savi wins the race. The anchor announces Sai’s mother as the winner. Sai hugs Savi and thanks her for winning the race on her behalf. The teacher notices Savi is badly hurt and takes her to the first-aid room.
In the medical room, Savi gets her foot bandaged. Sai thinks to herself: Dad isn’t here, and Mom is injured—who will participate in the parents’ race now? She takes Savi’s phone and calls Neil, asking where he is. Neil replies that he’s at school. Sai requests him to participate in the parents’ race alongside her mother. Neil asks how he can do that. Sai insists, “If you don’t come, I’ll lose, just like Nishi said. Please meet me at the race track.” She ends the call. Neil decides to participate.
The teacher writes Sai’s name in the parents’ race. Neil approaches the teacher and says he’ll participate on behalf of Sai’s father. The teacher agrees and announces Sai’s name. Sai meets Neil and introduces him to Savi as her “Pookie Uncle.” Both Savi and Neil are shocked to see each other.
Sai pleads with Savi and Neil to participate and help her win, otherwise Nishi will tease her. They remain silent, and Sai walks off to talk to Nishi. Meanwhile, Savi questions Neil, asking if he is using her daughter to spy on her. Neil replies, “I didn’t know Sai is your daughter, so stop accusing me.” Sai then calls out to both Neil and Savi.
The teacher announces that Nishi’s father is a national athlete who won last year. He bumps into Neil intentionally. Neil asks him to walk properly. Nishi’s father arrogantly claims he will win again. The teacher explains the rules of the coordination race.
The race begins. Savi stumbles, but Neil helps her. Vedaan and Sai cheer them on. During the race, Neil and Savi argue. Savi accuses him again of spying. Neil clarifies that he had no idea Sai was her daughter and that he met her for the first time while saving her from the cops. He sarcastically asks, “Was there a tattoo on her saying she’s your daughter?” Despite the tension, Neil and Savi work together and win the race for Sai.
Later, the teacher announces Savi and Neil as the winners. Savi pulls the teacher aside and explains that Rajat, Sai’s father, has passed away, and Neil participated only for Sai. The teacher says she already knew and acknowledges that Sai has been going through a lot. She remarks that this is the first time she’s seen Sai smile so brightly. Sai then talks to Neil.
