The episode starts with Neil reminiscing about his moments with Teju. Teju is shown crying to herself. Neil recalls Rituraj and Teju’s conversation and wonders how he could have made such a big mistake — everything was happening right in front of him, yet he failed to see it. Rituraj drinks alcohol, recalls Teju’s words, and breaks the bottle in anger. Teju looks at Lord Shiva’s idol, asks why He is testing her like this, and makes a comment on it.
Mukta asks Omi if these things are enough. Omi says yes, and adds that they have to take them to Neil’s house. Satish criticizes the Chavan family, saying they’re thinking about going to Neil’s house even after his daughter’s life has been ruined. Satish says that if they go, Neil might feel disrespected — and where there is no respect, he cannot stay. He declares that he will leave the house with his family. Sonali asks Satish how he can do that. Deepali agrees with Satish and supports his decision. Lakshmi argues with Satish and reminds him that Teju is the eldest daughter of the house. Satish then asks Lakshmi if she herself will go to Neil’s house. Lakshmi replies that Mukta will go, not her. Mukta insists that Lakshmi should go instead. Satish tells Omi that he doesn’t care who goes, but he himself won’t. Juhi tells the Chavan family that even if Satish and Deepali don’t go, she will go to the Pradhan family. Deepali reacts to this.
Teju comes downstairs to have breakfast with the Pradhan family. Neil leaves for the hospital, saying he has work. Teju sits beside Manjari, who leaves immediately upon seeing Teju next to her. Amruta invites Leena to join them. Leena sarcastically tells Amruta to sit there, as she has now become the elder of the house. Omi questions Leena’s behavior and reminds her that she was the one who made the rule that all family members should eat together. Leena replies that she made that rule for family members, not for outsiders who trap her son and enter the house with deception.
Teju calls Aditi and says she’s worried about Juhi. Aditi tells her that Juhi has returned home and was slapped several times by Satish. She adds that the good news is that Juhi will attend the Gondhal ritual today. Teju asks why Juhi ran away from the wedding. Aditi says she’ll come over in the evening so Teju can question Juhi directly. Teju thinks to herself that she is eager to confront Juhi.
Teju arrives at the Gondhal ritual. Prachi introduces her to everyone as her sister-in-law. Some ladies ask if she is the new bride and comment on whether Teju is more beautiful than Juhi. Manjari steps in and says Teju is beautiful and that they shouldn’t compare anyone.
Vinod approaches Leena and asks why she’s standing in the corner. He tells her to act happy. Leena says she can’t pretend. Vinod asks why she’s valuing Juhi, who ran away from the wedding, and why she hates Teju. Leena insists that Juhi was forced to run away and says she will uncover the truth. Vinod says Neil married Teju following all the rituals. Leena replies that she doesn’t like Teju because she is the illegitimate child of her father. Vinod reminds her that Teju’s father is no longer alive and pleads with her to let go of this hatred. Leena says Teju reminds her of Mohit and how he broke her heart. She says she’s now happy with Vinod and his family but will never accept Teju. Vinod asks her to stay with the family and says he doesn’t want any drama. Leena says if he doesn’t want drama, he should allow her to stay away from the function, and she walks away. Vinod thinks to himself that he doesn’t know how to resolve this issue and that he is unable to enjoy his son’s wedding. Neil arrives at the Gondhal ceremony.
