The episode starts with Kian and Saisha asking Rajat to fly their kite. Raju tells Kian and Saisha that they are putting him in a dilemma, as one of them will feel hurt if he chooses one over the other. Raju suggests that they fly their kites with their mother instead. Savi says she is not interested. Saisha pleads with Savi to fly the kite with her, and Savi agrees at Saisha’s insistence.
Ashika and Kian fly their kite, but Savi and Saisha fail to get theirs in the air. Rajat steps in to help them, and with his assistance, Savi and Saisha succeed in flying their kite.
Kian asks Ashika to cut Savi and Saisha’s kite. Saisha questions Kian, asking why he wants Ashika to cut their kite. Ashika explains to Saisha that competition adds to the fun. Savi tells Saisha that they shouldn’t compete without reason, but if someone challenges them, they shouldn’t back down.
Rajat daydreams about flying the kite with Savi but quickly comes back to reality.
Kian cries out in pain when Savi’s kite thread accidentally cuts his neck. Seeing Kian injured, Savi immediately drops the kite thread. Ashika seizes the opportunity and cuts Savi’s kite thread.
The Thakkar family tends to Kian and asks if he is alright. Kian claims he is not fine and accuses Savi of hurting him intentionally. Savi defends herself, saying it was an accident. Ashika makes a snide comment about Savi, and Bhagyasree scolds her, saying she should have been more careful. Rajat intervenes, defending Savi and pointing out that it was clearly an accident. He asks them to drop the matter. Ashika and Bhagyasree take Kian away.
Savi notices Saisha looking upset and asks her what’s wrong. Saisha says she is upset because their kite was cut and walks away.
Savi tries to console Saisha, but Saisha refuses to talk to her. Rajat approaches them and suggests they fly another kite together. Saisha and Savi agree.
Rajat tells Saisha that their kite didn’t fly earlier because she hadn’t written her name on it. He shows them a sky lantern and says it won’t fall because it has all three of their names written on it. Saisha and Rajat light the lantern and ask Saisha to make a wish. Saisha wishes that Savi and Rajat will always stay with her. Rajat later wishes for Savi to pass her IAS exam soon and releases the lantern into the sky.
Later, Ashika looks at Kian’s old photos and shows them to Bhagyasree. She mentions that Kian had once dressed as Lord Krishna, but they weren’t there to see it. Bhagyasree reminds Ashika that she had taken Kian away from them and didn’t let them meet him. Ashika apologizes for her past behavior but secretly thinks about using Kian as a way to gain a place in their hearts and eventually in the house permanently.
Saisha suggests that Savi take a mock test, and she offers to supervise. Rajat hands Savi the question paper. While taking the test, Savi gets emotional thinking about Kian.
