The episode starts with Satish telling Sonali that if they don’t accept Mukta and her children, the whole society will disgrace them.
Sonali’s husband agrees, saying he doesn’t want any drama in front of outsiders. Lakshmi argues that the real drama will start if Mukta and her children enter the house.
Lakshmi confronts Mukta, asking if she isn’t ashamed of ruining another woman’s marriage and showing up after what she had done. Mukta pleads with Lakshmi to believe her, saying she had no idea about Mohit’s marriage. Lakshmi dismisses her words with a harsh comment.
Deepali steps in, telling Lakshmi that Mukta and her children genuinely didn’t know about Mohit’s situation. Lakshmi brushes her off. Sonali’s husband intervenes, telling Lakshmi to stop and accusing her of never being able to keep Mohit happy. They argue, and Sonali’s husband tells Lakshmi she can leave if she’s unhappy with their decision. Lakshmi, however, refuses to leave, reminding him that it was their family who chose her for Mohit in the first place.
Lakshmi declares that she won’t let anyone take away her and her daughter’s rights. Satish reassures her that no one is stealing her rights and insists that she will always be Mohit’s wife. He explains that if they don’t accept Mukta and her children, society will gossip about their family. Sonali agrees with Satish, saying she doesn’t want to accept Mukta either, but not letting them stay would tarnish their family’s reputation. Lakshmi remains bitter and makes another sharp remark.
Aditi approaches Tejaswini and Mukta, asking them not to take Lakshmi’s words to heart. She gently asks Teju for her name, and Teju replies that her name is Tejaswini. Aditi comforts her. Lakshmi lashes out at Aditi, calling her stupid. Aditi admits it with a smile but says Mohit loves her just the way she is. She then invites Mukta and Tejaswini into the house, extending her acceptance.
Meanwhile, Neil visits Mohit’s house and learns that his family has left for Nagpur. He gives them his card and asks to be informed if they receive any updates about Mohit’s family.
Neil returns home and tells his family that he missed meeting Mohit’s family as they had already left.
Leena reminds Neil to get ready because they have to go see a prospective bride. Neil pulls Leena aside and asks if they can cancel the plan for today.
