The episode starts with Juhi talking with Neil over the phone. Neil says to Juhi that he doesn’t understand all these rituals and says he needs to eat food that is put infront of him and if he doesn’t eat food the rest of his family will not eat food. Juhi says to Neil that today it is his Kelvan ritual and says it is very important. Neil comments on it to Juhi. Neil says to Juhi that if she thinks after their marriage everything is going to change then she is mistaken. Juhi says to Neil that she never said things will change in between them. Juhi says she only said that today Kelvan’s ritual is very important and comments on it. Juhi cuts the call. Neil covers his mouth with a shirt and screams to himself.
Teju gets message from her friend Sammy as she sends the final form of MA exam. Teju says to Aditi and Prajakta that now she can give her exams in Nagpur as there is a branch of her institution here in Nagpur. Aditi asks Teju how will she go tomorrow as if Satish and Lakshmi know about it they will not allow her to go. Teju says she will manage things and comments on it.
Juhi sits with her family to do the Kelvan ritual. Deepali gives Aarthi to Juhi. Juhi asks Deepali to give Aarthi to Teju, Aditi and Prajakta. Deepali agrees and gives Aarthi to all the girls.
Deepali says to Teju that she needs to do the bridal make up tomorrow as she knows how to do the bridal make up. Aditi worries as tomorrow Teju needs to go out to fill the MA form. Teju agrees. Teju says she will not only do the make up of Juhi but she will also make jewelry for all her sisters. Satish asks Teju where will she get the money. Teju says she will earn money after clearing her MA exams. Teju says she will also do knee operation of Omi. Satish asks Teju to stop day dreaming and says this is Chavan family and in Chavan family the ladies do not work. Lakshmi also insults Teju that she is living on her expenses. Aditi argues with Lakshmi and reminds Lakshmi that the money she has right now belongs to her father and if Mukta files a case on her then Lakshmi will have no choice but to give that money. Lakshmi comments on Aditi. Mukta says to Aditi she shouldn’t talk with Aditi like that. Aditi asks Mukta if what Lakshmi speaks with her is right and comments on it.
Juhi feeds the food to Teju. Satish asks Juhi why has he fed the food to Teju and says today is her Kelvan ritual. Sonali also says the bride needs to eat the first grain of Kelvan ritual but she fed it to Teju. Juhi says to her family that she did it because Teju is going to get married after her. Juhi’s family asks Juhi to take rest as in the evening it is her Haldi ceremony. Juhi agrees. Teju later feeds the food to Juhi and thinks Teju is looking at her wierdly from when Neil has spoken to Juhi and hopes that Juhi will not misunderstand her.
Leena sees Neil has gotten ready for the Haldi ceremony. Leena asks Neil to come downstairs and says everyone is waiting for him. Neil agrees.
Neil sits for the Haldi ceremony. Alok asks Manjari to apply Haldi to Neil. Manjari says there is no need as all of them are here. Manjari asks Alok if they asked Neil’s last wish. Manjari says when a person is going to be hanged they ask for the person’s last wish. Manjari asks Neil why is he doing this wedding against his will and says he will always suffer if he does this marriage and says she is a live example of it. Bhushan lashes out at Manjari for spoiling the mood. Bhushan blames Alok for stopping Manjari when she is going somewhere. Manjari comments on it. Manjari leaves from there.
The whole Pradhan family dances as it is Neil’s Haldi. Rituraj notices Neil is silent. Rituraj comes to Neil and asks Neil why is he looking upset. Neil stays silent.
Neil cleans the Haldi on his face. Rituraj comes and asks Neil why is he looking silent today.
